Description says high grade 304 stainless steel, but this is false. I tested it with a magnet. I chose this steamer basket out of the dozens of option specifically because it said it was high grade steel. My testing indicates that this is a lower grade steel product.

This review is for the Vegetable Steamer Basket sold by RuBiWo. This steamer basket is fordable and can stretch from enclosed 14cm in diameter to open-up 24.5cm, which makes it fit in most of small, medium, or large pots. The center post is good for retrieving the steamer from the pot; however, the post is detachable and is good for steaming large piece and storage purpose. This steamer is made of stainless steel, so it's good for pots, not for microwave as claimed in product description. I like this steamer a lot, but I gave it 4 stars because I sustained a small cut while washing the bottom upon receipt. I checked the bottom multiple times yet failed to find a specifically sharp end.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

This steamer should help with my New Year's resolution to eat healthier. It is very easy to use. The steamer is adjustable so it will fit almost any pot. I like that I can use it to cook smaller portions. I have another steamer but it is huge and not adjustable so it seems like overkill when I am cooking for one or two. This steamer folds up and does not take up much space when you store it. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. This didn't change or influence my opinion in any way.

I love this steamer. The legs are a little too high for one of my pots, so I just fold them in a little and it still keeps the food out of the water. The handle is great for removing the steamer from the pot without burning yourself. And the steamer is large enough to handle a several cups of vegetables.
