Late switching off
Had initially used the NK-301F type, as per photo. They worked very well for a month or so. Then, the first one blew up, it actually went with a pop heard inside the house and the side cover blew out. This one in the photo, just ceased to work after a month. I’m now on this larger, slightly more expensive unit. I was somewhat surprised to see the lights still on in early daylight and stayed on till sun well up - what little sun there is at this time of year.The NK-301F type had better dawn sensing in my experience. The placement of the units is exactly the same. However, as long as it lasts a decent length of time, I’m happy, had enough faffing about with these lights :)

Fantastic product
I have been looking for a suitable dust till dawn replacement switch for ages. This one came at a reasonable price and delivered within 24 hours. It was well built and a hefty current can be put thru this little wonder. It has worked flawlessly out of the box. Definitely a real winner

A genuine Dusk to Dawn sensor
At last a sensor that does what it should, I installed three today on private driveway lamp posts.Official sunset time tonight was 20:26, the first two came on at 20:35 and the third at 20:40, well pleased and I would recommend them

Good Sensor Poor Instructions
This sensor was purchased to control two outdoor lights either side of the front door. I wanted them to come on automatically when it got dark and turn off upon daylight. To start with, the wiring colours are non standard and confused me for a little while. For anyone else wondering, here are the correct wiring instructions:-Mains Input - Live - Brown = Connect to black wire on sensorMains Input - Neutral - Blue = Connect to white wire on sensorSensor Output - Switched Live - Red = Connect to brown wire on lightIf installing into a waterproof enclosure, a 20mm hole will be required to mount the sensor. I installed into an IP66 junction box which ensured it remained fully waterproof. Would be scored 5 stars if some sensible instructions had been included with the sensor.Since installation, the lights have functioned as expected, turning on / off with darkness / daylight as expected.
