Definitely need the right consistency of batter to capture the details and you get used to how full to fill them so it doesn't cook over the top. I bought two and will reuse them soon in the future. I love how you get the variety of I think 10 different designs in one pan. Is a little tedious to clean, but I bought the Bundt brush and it's a definite help, though it's still tedious just for the number of little crevices to make sure you clean... Just the nature of what it is. With baking spray the cakes come right out and I've had no issues with them sticking in the pan. A thicker batter that is more sticky and doesn't run into the crevices will not get you the details you want. I was extremely pleased. I will advise you to test any recipes ahead of any event you want to use these for just to work out batter amount in each Bundt cake mold and cooking times.
