Great value, easy install and looks great.
Quick and easy solution for 3 remnants to use under bar and for runners. It was easy to find a color match with the wide selection. First image shows before and after.

Easy to do and looks great!
This looks great and was easy to do, plus it saved me a bunch of money versus having the carpet bond professionally. I love the results.

Buy it. It's easy!
Not the best adhesive backing but hot glue does the trick. It won't pull off & as long as you glue the base of the yarn at the carpet backing on berber, it won't pull a run in the carpet.Pretty happy that I didn't have to spend $1000 for binding on a 9'10" x 19', plus 2 2 x 3 throw rugs in doorways. Pleased as a pig! Made the mistake of Not cutting carpet at 1st full row on the edge but I'm cool with that for a throw rug. Use a 4 x 4 block at least 12" long to hold the binding while the hot glue solidifies. Use Surebonder 1 minute hot glue so it goes faster. Get your mindframe straight that it won't just be a stick & go project. It can be tedious. Watch the video & play some music. I also didn't use a fine tip on my hot glue gun. I already had a surebonder dual temp glue gun. The tip was ideal.

Good looking product overall. Adhesive is useless.
Good product overall. Gives a good clean looking finish. The adhesive which is supposed to stick to the bottom of the carpet is worthless. Plan on hot gluing it. Would buy again. Takes some time to work with, but looks outstanding. The manufacturer claimed to provide 54’ but the perimeter of my project was 52’ and I had only an inch or two to spare at the end… and I actually measured. So, “54 feet” might not mean exactly 54 feet. Good alternative to professional carpet setting, which is quite expensive.

Made my rug look like new, but a few tips
This works well. Based on other reviews, I put double sided sticky carpet tape over the less sticky adhesive on the binding itself and used that to stick it to the rug. Easy to install. Main thing is use moderate amount of hot glue to stick the binding to your rug. I had a few spots where my glue showed. I covered all flaws with a permanent magic marker the color of the rug and binding (black). It looks like a new rug and was fraying significantly in multiple areas. Take your time waiting on the hot glue to set. I used a piece of 2x4 lumber scrap to hold pressure on it while drying. Do about 12-16 inches at a time. Great product!

Not one continuous strip
About a ten foot piece was added to the end of roll-taped with scotch tape. Total was still only about 50 feet instead of 54. I used rug tape also because I didn't have confidence that the adhesive on instabind would hold firmly with time

I was skeptical but really happy with the result.
Couldn't find a large area rug that I liked. Bought a carpet remnant and put this border on and it looks great. Saved me alot of money and gave me the option to choose exactly what I wanted.
