Kingfisher B609CP Steel Watering Can Rose, 3.35 x 3.35 x 2.36, Transparent

This metal sprinkler head is a decent replacement for the plastic sprinkler head that came with my 2 gallon plastic watering cans after they finally cracked and were rendered useless. Since I hate wastefulness, I did not want to buy brand new watering cans since only the sprinkler heads were broken. My only qualm with it is, the water drips a little heavier from the bottom holes. After rotating it, it still dripped heavier from the bottom holes so it must be a gravity issue. Other than that, it's a good replacement for a broken sprinkler head and best of all, it appears to be universal, because it fits the spouts of two different style watering cans that I own because the attachment part is made of rubber and has no threads, so it just slides and hugs onto the spout.

I thought I was going to have to throw away my old watering can and buy a new one when the rosette broke on the end of it until I found this little gem. It came so quickly and did exactly as it said it would. It fit right over the nozzle of my old watering can and I'm ready to go. The water comes out in a nice gentle spray from the head which I really like. Now, keep in mind that this is not a screw on rosette. It has a flexible neck so that it can fit over several sizes of watering cans. However, for the money, I don't think you can beat it. Works for me.

Man is it hard to find replacement roses for watering cans. This one is the best I've been able to find. It works, but be sure you use water with no debris whatsoever in it. The holes and really small, and it clogs easily. Once clogged it's a pain to clean. It is what it is though - you gotta work with what you have available.

The watering rosette is working wonderfully for me on my old watering can. Upon arrival I found it slightly too tight to fit on the spout of my old can, so I was disappointe for a moment. However, I left the spout next to the can in the sun, came back a few hours later to see if I could somehow muscle it onto the can . . . by that time the sun had softened the rosette's rubber base enough to fit it easily over my spout. Problem solved. It works well for me, no dripping. It was packaged well, arrived promptly, the quality is good. I am very happy with the purchase.

The replacement rose works well if you are watering a wide area, as the spray circumference is quite large. For pots, even large ones, it's necessary to carefully keep the spray near the base of the plant so the water doesn't splash out. As other reviewers have noted, the rose leaks after the water appears to be gone from the can, but I don't find this a problem. The spray is very gentle, if you're looking to water delicate seedlings. I would have given it a higher rating if the spray was easier to control.

It takes a couple of weeks to get it because it's shipped from England but it worked on my watering can perfectly. Be aware that the pattern is wide so you have to get close to water just one plant.

The metal rosette wanders quite a bit inside of the rubber housing, and it dribbles for a long time after you stop pouring. It is clear that there was not a lot of care put into the design and implementation of this thing. The saving grace of this item is that the rubber mounting base is a godsend in the world of antique watering cans that have non-standard spout sizes. Fits on mine perfectly and now my little sprouting seeds are happier…

Makes a really wide and fine sprinkle - too wide for my smaller pots. It was really hard to get on the spout, but it has stayed on without fail so it was worth the struggle.

Very poor quality, does not seal properly so dribbles, and if that's isn't bad enough....it certainly does not fit any watering can. It does not fit my, very standard green plastic watering can! Going straight in the bin.
