The material does look a bit cheap, however, I had been looking for NEW office chairs because my husband and mine were looking pretty crappy. They worked just fine still, but the vinyl was coming off in chunks and the "repair patches" I purchased lasted about a month, then peeled off the entire vinyl that the patch was stuck to, looking even worse.These fit right over the entire chair, even allowing our Purple gel pads to go under them, keeping those in place, and the zippers worked perfectly around the arm braces. They look like new chairs!When ordering them, they sold pairs of arm covers with elastic edges and I purchased these also, they work great! I am buying two more pairs for my old office chairs that were demoted to my craft/sewing room!

The fabric is a little too thin but sufficient for the low price. It serves my purpose of covering a peeling chair. It stays in place. The color is good and you really can’t tell that it’s a cover. Decent quality for a low price. I could have bought a more expensive cover but this one works.

I cannot believe I waited forever to buy this, thinking there would be no way it would fit / look decent / do the job.The fabric stretches like crazy to fit even my weird, beat-up chair. And the chair now actually looks good! I had no trouble putting it on, although it took a minute to find the 'top'. The hardest part was actually getting it out of the shrink-wrap packaging!I am very pleased.

I returned a cute chair cover I ordered that was too small. I really liked the print of the one I returned better, but this one fits and my chair looks so much better.

Exactly what I wanted/needed in a chair cover. I bought a large high-back office chair for my remote workstation that has a soft plush exterior like faux velvet, forgetting at the time that I eat at my desk and have a tendency to spill everything, touch stuff with greasy fingers, etc. I also have a normal body that sweats and produces oils and has lotions and stuff slathered on it , and that doesn't always play well with soft fuzzy furniture. In other words, typical daily humaning tends to be messy so I wanted something for my chair that would absorb the brunt of that messiness and that I could take off and wash when it got out of hand. This cover works perfectly - it is stretchy enough to fit over my large high-back chair without even having to unzip, it's a nice jersey material like a t-shirt so comfortable against my skin, and it took 1 minute to put on/take off. Bonus: it's inexpensive - if it stretches out too much or tears I'm not out a ton of money. I'm buying a second for backup rotation and anticipate these lasting the life of the chair. Good stuff!

If you have a high-back office chair that is peeling, this is the cover for you. It fits like a glove and is easy to install. It does not cover the arms, so you can just buy a padded arm rest to cover that. No more black flakes all around the office.

I love this cover. It fits beautifully, feels soft and transforms an old and peeling chair into a brand new one. The material is a little thin, so I am a little worried it will give way soon, but so far so good!

Not going to lie this took me a little bit to figure out how to fit it onto my chair. However, once I got that figured out my chair looked great. My chair was pealing and this was definitely a saver as I love my office chair. The stretch is nice and it fits my chair perfectly. The reason for the one star off is that it is a little see through. It doesn't bother me as you have to really pay attention to notice. I would buy this again if needed in the future. Definitely gave my favorite office chair a face lift.

Bought this to protect an expensive leather office chair. Works perfectly to avoid cat scratching. A little on the thin side but still good value for the $.
