I switched from Otterbox defender to this. And here is my pros for this case vs the Otterbox.Pros:Super slimMetal buttonsFully enclosedEasy to clean front plastic shield.Cons:-Charging port. Super slim you need to make sure you have a thin cable to charge this phone (I had some old original android cables lying around that fit)-easy to scratch screen protector. Which sucks because it's built into the screen. (Had Otterbox and finally received one scratch on the shield vs 1 week with this)-feels cheap. This is my personal preference it just feels like if I did drop this I would be in trouble or have to get another one but this is my first experience with ghostek so I don't know. It also dosent align perfectly with the front of my phone which gives me some ocd moments.- can't use fingerpint open. Since is fully enclosed the home button can't recognize finger prints. I'm not taking points off for that it'd just a con.If your looking for a slimmer and secure phone case then the Otterbox I would give this a shot. If your ocd about dropping your phone and you don't want to worry as much I would go Otterbox. But if your ok with dropping it once in a while and what a slimmer profile this is the phone case for you.I gave it 3 stars because of the spen slot is super tight, the charger port is annoying as hell and I luckily had 2 old cables that work. It dosent line up off by 1 - 2 mm. Also I feel like I have no grip with this phone but I have the lasso on it because I am clumsy.

Don't get me wrong, this case does GREAT for it's main objective, keeping your phone safe in the water. It just doesn't provide the level of shock protection that my Otterbox does.On a daily basis, I use my Otterbox Commuter. It provides the "two layers of protection" (rubber wrapped in plastic) that give a high level of impact resistance. Of course, it provides zero water proof qualities. The Ghostek case is a very sleek (adding less bulk), very classy looking metal and plastic but with minimal rubber. What's there is mainly to keep the phone in place and act as a part of the gasket system. My daily choice for he Otterbox is also caused by a fear (which may be completely unfounded) that repetitive opening of the gaskets on the Ghostek to charge or use the S-Pen will eventually cause the seals to wear out, losing the water tight feature.A VERY COOL FEATURE of the Ghostek was a headphone pig tail it comes with that has a gasket built in. This allows you to listen to music while still maintaining the water protection. A VERY cool add on that I hadn't noticed it came with.While day to day the Otterbox is my case of choice. Any time I go near a boat or the beach, the Ghostek is the obvious option.With regards to the future, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a sleek, water proof case.

I was a little skeptical after reading some reviews, but still order the case. So far the case works great. I did had some problem taking the S- pen out, till I realized that I hadn't align the phone correctly, even though the case seems to be really snug on the phone, there is a little of play. Once I align the phone the pen came out with no problems. My other worry was the camera slot, a lot of reviews said it scratches easily, so I grab a piece of screen protector and cut it to fit the case's lens.Another thing was signal drop, I have not experience any change on my phone signal, as for the muffled mic, I haven't had any problem with that either since I mostly use Bluetooth headset.Finger print scanner work great with cover and the same goes for wireless charging.My only complain is the rubber covers for usb and headphone jack, they seem a little flimsy.Overall I have no mayor complains with the product. It is a great case and would recommend.

The Atomic 2.0 is a good Sexy case. Looks real good on the Note 5. I tested it for 20 minutes under water (without phone in it) and no leaks. The volume buttons and power button are a little hard to push but they work. Finger print scanner works flawlessly. This will protect your phone. But unsure of any drop rating on the case. If it can handle a drop or not.My issues with the the case.It's very slippery on the back. You do need to watch how you hold the case. I wish there were some grips on the sides but it's all smooth. Also the reception can be affect if you have weak signal. I average 3-4 bars at work. With this case it drops to 1-2 bars and it's hard to connect to Internet.I do recommend this case. It's the real deal and if TalkinTree is selling it. They are good sellers.

This is a really nice case. It's easy to put on the phone, looks great and is very functional.I can see the plug for the charge cord opening breaking off soon if it is used a lot as it is a very thin piece of rubber holding it on. If you are using a wireless charger for most of your charging then this won't be an issue for you - and yes the case is totally compatible with a wireless charger.The port for the S-pen is very easy to open and the pen slides in and out very nicely.The only real issue I noticed with this case is that the back is quite slippery which makes one handed use of the phone tricky.It was shipped super quick and the service I received was excellent.

I've owned this case for a few weeks now. The slim size of this case is great. I tested it underwater for 10 minutes and it remained completely dry, which is awesome. As far as sound, the speakers work as well as without the case, though sometimes talking during a call is slightly muffled, according to people I've talked to.My one issue with this phone case is the fingerprint scanner. I cannot get the screen cover to lay completely flat against the button. It constantly develops tiny bubbles under the surface. Pressing the button works fine, but while unlocking the phone, it causes the scanner to misread several times, preventing me from unlocking my phone. This drives me absolutely insane. The waterproof feature and smallest size on the market are excellent, but the scanner has made me seriously consider replacing this case.

The fingerprint reader won't work due to the film covering it, had to trim it off. Then after a couple of weeks later the USB Waterproof cover broke off. A couple of months later the plastic back cover start ripping off and had to be removed also. Pretty much just using it as a bumper now.. which is quite expensive for a bumper

It's really more for water/scratch resistance.

1 star for not being able to read my fingerprint! A real let down for sure. 5 star water proof and 5 start shocked proof. End result is I don't like due to fact it can't read my fingerprint unlock that means errrrrr
