CyberLabs AR100 Smart & Humane Animal Repeller works against moles, rodents, etc. This IP54 rated weatherproof unit is of an attractive Italian design and is high strength, lightweight and comes in a durable corrosion-proof aluminum tube. No more poisons, traps or gases, the AR100 is safe for the environment and safe around children and pets. It covers an area of up to 11,000 square feet. (1,000 square meter) underground area. FAQs: How does it work? The AR100 is effective at repelling mice, rats and moles by emitting an ultra low frequency sonic pulse through the ground. The animals pick up these vibrations through their body sensors, perceive that there is danger ahead, and evacuate the area. The AR100 transmits signals in all directions, up to 11,000 Sq.ft. (1,000 Sq.m) It operates on regular C size alkaline batteries. How to install the Unit? The loose soil will reduce the effective of the coverage area. DO NOT use a hammer to drive the Unit into the ground. DO NOT use excessive force to drive the unit into the ground as this may break the plastic tip and damage the Unit. While the Unit is weatherproof, it is not waterproof. The battery cap must NEVER be under water. Large obstructions such as concrete footings, septic tanks, driveways, large planters, ponds, possible large trees, etc will block or impair the transmission of sonic pulse. Make a hole in the ground with a crowbar, metal tube or rod about the same diameter (but no larger) as the stake. Carefully push the stake into the hole you have made, leaving about 160mm of the stake above the ground. How quickly does it work? The result can take 2-4 weeks to eradicate your pests. However, results can vary depending on the type of pets, location, and degree of infestation. What about my pets? Will the sonic sound drive my dog crazy? The sonic pulse travels through the ground and it cannot be heard above the surface. How long does it run on an alkaline battery (3pcs. C Size battery)? Up to 60 days.
