Works well, will mold and fold fine. Material is sturdy.
First things first, the material is thin but strong, it isn't rubber so it won't mold immediately and there will be creases as it gets laid in, however, once inside, we found that adding river pebbles of varying size and weight, helped hold the material down. Then we started filing it with water, which helps the material mold itself and further sink into the soil. This is southern Florida, so the soil here is rocky and has natural lime stone, the lime stone we couldn't dig out we covered with moist soil and mud, we did this before we laid the material in. With the weight of pebbles and water, it began to mold almost immediately. Also, we did this around 7pm, sun setting afternoon, by mid-day, the heat from the sun will further aid the material to molding around the opening. The remaining material I'd recommend one not to cut, we placed decorative concrete stones around it and over the excess, used soil from the hole to fill in around and over material and then mulched it to further hold it down. What you see in photo is this.Again, it isn't soft rubber but it's pretty good for a small pond which is about 7 ft long and 5.5 wide. At its deepest it's about 2.5 ft, at its most shallow about 10 inches.I'd recommend the material, the size is more than adequate for the laguna we had in mind. We should have put another layer on top of it, but it's strong as is, we've walked around inside it and it feels sturdy at 20 mil.Comes folded up tightly. Didn't notice any tears or holes in fabric. It's been holding water for hours without issue. So far, very good. Price point couldn't be beat and the reviews are pretty good. Will update with more photos when it's finished.👍Update photos as pond/laguna takes shape. Liner is still holding up without issue.Liner is folded beneath stones, as you can see the stones are heavy (over 40 pounds each) and some are stacked. We did this to make sure the material stays in place, doesn't shift towards submerged center. Also, has some security for wildlife currently in pond (fish and turtles).Inside liner is holding about 100 pounds of river pebbles. Hand chosen so as not to tear or poke liner. I recommend using smooth stones and rocks. For the curious: the submerged plant is Egyptian papyrus, other plants are Water Hyacinth (native to Florida) and wild grass orchids 🙂

Better than I thought.
This was a difficult purchase for me because I had no prior knowledge on this type of liner. I'm so glad I finally purchased. It's not the easiest material to shape, but my pond has a lot of dimension and this worked out fairly well considering. No doubt in my mind that it will be better than the liner I replaced it with. Durable material that warms easily in the sun and becomes flexible. I also took a heat gun to it in certain spots and it made it easier to work with. I should have bought this a long time ago, but the ratings on this type of material made me shy away from it. If you're looking for a durable pond liner or waterproofing, I would definitely recommend this liner without hesitation.

As described and working like a charm
Size was as described and thickness is perfect for this sized pond I needed it for. The Hole size is 4 ft x 6 ft. The depth is 3 1/2 at one end and slopes up to 1 ft used for a plant shelf.

Nice liner
Nice and heavy duty liner works best if installed in the sun it becomes more flexible to work with

This is NOT pond liner
This product is being sold as a pond liner but it is not. It is not a rubber material that bends and conforms to the hole you dug. At best this is a stiff plastic tarp.

Works fantastically
I accidentally selected a smaller size than I intended, but I made it work (just with less overhang than I wanted) -so double check your size selections!- So far, it has been leak proof and holding up against the rocks, heat, and cold. I would definitely recommend!

NO STRETCH
Keep in mind that this liner has absolutely no stretch or "give." Our last liner stretched a little after being in the sun, but not this one. It is a very stiff material and has no give when lining corners. Due to rain, we were not able to put it in the pond until after the 30-day return, or we would have sent it back.
