It's sturdy and it hold this big plane with no problem!

I was hesitant to spend $80 on a plane stand but there are so few available. Don't wait and pick this one up today. It is very sturdy and well machined, no cheap china junk. This stand is built to last for years and you won't be disappointed.

This stand is very well made. Looks good as well. Folds up nice and compact. Very sturdy as well. A nice stand to have in my hanger.

This is made of high quality material, but on the one I received the two tubes were slightly different inside diameters. Because of this the bracket on one of the feet was not able to slide into the smallest tube. To resolve this I had to machine the bracket down to the size that would fit. After doing this the unit is quite nice. It is a little weak for 60 size nitro planes but i was able to use it carefully for those. Also they didn’t include any assembly instructions so you have to assume which end is the top or bottom. I believe the longer end goes down for better stability but either way the foot bracket would not fit without machining. Last thought…I used some ankle weights to lay across the feet so that the unit could not tip as easy. That really helped.

I have a total of four of these. Very happy with them in general, but the fourth one I recently ordered had the threads stripped on the side that the locking bolt screws into. I already threw away the box it was shipped in, so I can't easily return it. Going to have to come up with a slightly larger bolt to use and then re-tap the threads on the receiver side, as well as drill out the pass through hole on the other frame. Oh, well.

These stands changed the way I store and display my Rc airplanes- very good quality, holds my 40lb 89” p-51 securely
