Memory Foam Folding Guest Bed Mattress - LARGE

I purchased this mattress and opened it yesterday. It was not in its original packing, and had grey smudges on the cover. Seems that I have paid full price for a used item. I cannot return or exchange it because the return date has expired (I bought it while living abroad and just returned home after several months). The mattress itself feels great. Very firm, which is good for me. And the folding design is convenient. Not sure how it will hold up after several months of use, but we will see. The cover looks washable, but directions advise you against it.

If I put this on the floor, I sink to the carpet. I have found it works really well if I put it on top of an air matteress. Then I really get a good night's sleep.

We recently bought a camper van, and our first night of sleeping on the fold-down bed convinced us that our aging bodies needed a little more padding. This folding mattress fits the camper bed perfectly, and it's SO comfortable! We just got back from a 2-night trip, and we both slept very well. When folded, the mattress fits perfectly in the storage area of the van. As previous reviewers mentioned, the cloth cover on the mattress is not recommended for machine washing, so I bought an inexpensive, washable duvet cover and put the mattress in that to protect it from the inevitable dirt of camping. This works perfectly for our purposes.

My old latex foam folding bed is still better at half the price. Don't buy this thing. My hip bone goes right through it a rests on the floor. It cost me too much to return it, so it gathers dust in the corner. What happened to the latex foam blocks we could buy in the past? Memory foam is a joke.

Mattress arrived in just two days!! The sections each have a zipper to remove the cover. I took off one of the sections and my daughter who has development delays uses it daily on the floor of the family room. She looks so comfortable now. The mattress is the perfect thickness and soft. It was pricey but will be worth it if the foam holds up over time. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Don't be misled by "memory foam". I associated memory foam to one of those Serta's advertisement. This mattress, your body will touch the ground. I am 5'5" and 150 lbs (68 Kgs). I don't believe I qualify as overweight. I could as well have gone to the local hardware store and got a piece of foam. The only good thing about this one is that it folds and has a cover.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the covering could have been tighter, but that's the only complaint. It sleeps really well. My granddaughter loves it.

This is the real deal. Made in the USA. Smells good. Feels good. Looks good. Weighs maybe ten pounds. Foam is very very comfy. Superb value. Now I can sleep out under the stars all summer and bring my bed in so the cats don't sleep on it all day. A handle would be nice but no big deal.
