5 Second Fix is a super powered liquid plastic welding compound that you can use to quickly and easily make permanent seals and repairs. As seen on TV 5 Second Fix lets you flawlessly bond everything from plastic to metal, to split wood and broken glass! Unlike glue and common adhesives, 5 Second Fix lets you position and reposition until you want to make the weld permanent. There's no sticky mess and you can even sand or paint just like New!

It's worth the money to try
I broke a small statue at a very weak spot, that I paid $150 for new. I tried numerous brands of epoxy, glues and whatnot, none them held, always came apart from stress of the weight it was holding. I was leery about spending $10 only to have it not work as the others I used, so I thought ok I'll try this stuff but it will be the last time, I'll junk it if it doesn't hold. Amazing, after coating all around the break and using the UV light it held solid, no more weak spot and I can proudly put the item on the mantle.

Worked
I used this to fix a plastic window on a rental. Filled in a 1/8 inch gap and used the light as instructed. Was a little tacky but fixed the problem. The only issue was the solution was leaking in the package before I opened it.

Best Glue For The Home
I love this glue!! I am on my second tube and ready to buy two more. I have never seen it NOT work. I have glued plastic to plastic, wood to metal, leather to leather, and even rocks to rocks. In addition, I have glued metal to rocks as well. This is a MUST product for around the house and much better, in my opinion, from super glues or super gels. The one important thing to consider is that you have to follow the instructions and expose the glue to the ultra violet light. Any of the glue not exposed to the light...will not cure and work properly.

Worth the money and effort
Watched an eye glass repair video online that used this product before ordering. I also read the other reviews and personally found them to be sketchy. Pic is my second try. First time I didn't get all the hot glue residue off so the bond was weak. Used a razor blade and removed all residue, easy to remove. You can still see the crack in the frame but its a solid hold. I even put the lens back in gently after the weld. (Threw my shades in the dryer and that's why my lens don't fit back in properly and its the reason how I broke the frame, forcing the lens into the slit). I think it definitely works if you take the time to do it right.

If you have a little boy who breaks toys a lot...
This is your 5 second fix! I could be a spokesman for this company haha. I use it ALL the Time! My son snaps one of his plastic toys? No problem! Let me just get my 5 second fix! Some people don't like the smell but I think super glue is way worse smelling. And super glue takes forever to dry on non pour out plastic.Side note: if it ever doesn't want to stick on what I am gluing together I just take a nail file and rough it up a bit (just like when you are painting) so it'll stick well to the slick surface.

Very useful for many applications...
I've read a few negative reviews about this product so I felt obliged to comment. Actually this is a great product, but you need to know what your buying and it's limitations. I mostly use it for "tacking" small wires to prototype circuit boards when modifying the circuits. It beats the old method of super glue and accelerator hands down. It can be removed from circuit boards with a soldering iron, and doesn't stick to the iron! The thing with this product is that you have to be able to "see" the adhesive that you are wanting to cure. The UV light has to be able to get to it to make it harden. It is great for crafts like working with small clay figures to glue pieces together or even putting a small drop on a clay animal or figure where an eye should be and then cure it to make the eye. It is great for filling small gaps in plastic models and securing knots on tied fishing flies. It is best when cured in small amounts. Many products that cure with UV light leave an oily residue on the surface that has to be removed with isopropyl alcohol. This product does not. It cures clean and hard in a few seconds. It is also great for the little necklace kits the kids use when they use mono-filament fishing line for beads, or the stretchy rubber thread. Use it to secure the knots so they can't come loose. I probably sound like a salesman for this product, which I am not but after using it for a few months hated to see the reviews by some that considerate it a worthless product. It makes a great addition to any home shop or craft room! I'll include a photo of a circuit board where I used "5 Second Fix" to tack a small copper wire to the board. Works slick...
