Birsppy Dash of Bleu Countertop Ceramic Salt Box with Bamboo Lid

I bought this to keep dog training treats by my chair. I'm trying to train my little dog not to bark when the neighbors come home, and so I need to kept treats handy around the apartment. I was tired of smelling the liver treats when I kept the treats in an uncovered bowl, so I looked for something that was neat and simple to use. I love that this has a bamboo lid- the sound of the lid being placed on the ceramic box is nicer than if the lid had been ceramic too. I'm tempted to buy another one of these. You can keep all kinds of things in this lovely box, including salt. I am super happy with this purchase, it's the perfect size for my needs and I use it every day. My husband also thinks it looks lovely.

I spent such a long time trying to find a functional and aesthetically pleasing container for my spoiled dog's "magical powder" as I like to call it. I have to add a freeze-dried formula, which is in powder form, to his kibble otherwise he won't eat it! I am so happy I found these little boxes as they are the perfect size and design and not to mention it looks great on my counter top! What I particularly love about these is that I can easily lift up the lid instead of having to unscrew the container (which is what I had to do before). I have purchased two so far and I added chalkboard labels for convenience. I love the look and will be purchasing another sometime soon for other uses.Oh and it also comes packaged in lovely Kraft box with bubble wrap!

This salt box is beautiful! I ordered two to keep next to my stove (salt & pepper) and they work perfectly. They are the perfect size for grabbing a quick pinch of seasoning. The lids fit perfectly and lift off easily with one hand for no fuss cooking. The bamboo is absolutely gorgeous. The natural grain of the bamboo lids is slightly different (yet still matching) making it easy to eye which holds the salt and which holds the pepper. The packaging is beautiful. Quality all the way - 5+ stars! I would definitely buy these again.

I ordered some Le Guerandais coarse sea salt and felt it needed a pretty little jar, instead of using it straight out of the bag it came in, which can be messy when you're moving fast in the kitchen. This was the perfect solution. I can keep the bulk in a cool, dry place and leave this smaller portion out in the spice cupboard. Colors are neutral; came as advertised. Seems relatively sturdy as well.

Was looking for something to leave on my quartz countertop that wasn't huge but of sufficient size to fill with artificial sugar packets or with granular creamer. For me, this box fit the bill and looks nice enough to leave out yet not fill up my countertop. I bought two of these. It's hard to imagine size with just measurements.......so I've a attached photo. The one I use for sugar holds 32 packets. The other one holds 1 cup ( 8 oz ) of coffee creamer. Lids are completely removable. Only caution is if you drop one on your stone countertop, it's going to shatter I'm sure. Bottoms are not rough so they shouldn't leave scratches if you slide them around. I;ve set a soap dispenser next to one to give you an idea of size. I'm very happy with my boxes.

I like the idea of having my salt in a ceramic box for easy access to the salt while cooking. However, the bamboo lid does not seal the box but just sits loosely on top which I don't like.

I used to keep a ramekin on my counter for kosher salt when I cook, but really needed to find one with a cover, since my cats liked to play hockey with it at night. This salt box does the trick. It is big enough to keep an ample supply of salt and, while the cover is not very tight, it certainly keeps my cats from treating it like sports equipment. It's also attractive enough to leave out, but the flat top and the rectangle design means it can be stacked in a pantry cabinet, if needed. Nice little product! :)

I'm enjoying this little box. That said, the lid isn't attached (although it fits very nicely) so I use a rubber band when placing it with other things to secure. I grind up a lot of seeds in my VitaMix (thank you, Costco) and store them in this container. Flax seeds in particular, must be ground to get the nutrients out. Having them held in this container, it's easy peasy to add to everything (smoothies, on toast, all my food, really) and get all the benefits daily. It's a good looking ceramic container with a natural wooden top. Recommend it as a salt cellar as well.
