We live by Yellowstone which is bear territory. We like to hike and noise is a must. This bell was the perfect size and the sound was better than a jingle bell but not as loud as a larger cow bell (we put on our pack). It looks nice too!

Great for noise ,I put lots of these around my chicken coup ,Just hanging on the fence wakes me up when bears and other animals come around , Perfect for dog collars.

Everything described for this product is accurate except after putting one on a sheep just didn't meet my expectations--I could barely hear the bell.

One of my dogs is so polite she refuses to bark to let her in even though she is obviously freezing outside, but she'll push the door gently with her nose which doesn't make much of a sound at all. I strung these up on a ribbon to hang on our outside screen door, and when she nudges the door with her nose... it causes these to ring and clank against the door. It alerts me that she is ready to come in. They are small and sturdy, and have a great sound.

I bought these to help with training my dog.Ringing a bell gets his attention when he’s doing something that he shouldn’t be doing.Nice that they came in a 4 pack so I can put them in various places in my house.

These bells are perfect for my goats! I have a particularly sneaky billy that likes to ram you when you least expect it and this bell rings loud and clear with every step!

The sound of the Bells is not as described. They aren’t loud. Can’t be heard 1/2 acre away. Positively they are not very heavy and the finishing on the bells is rustic.
