So I was a little wary when I bought this item simply because I saw many positive reviews said they got the product free or at a discount. To me, that automatically raises red flags and makes me want to avoid the product. However, I needed a large bag and this particular bag was one of the largest I found (and was reasonably priced). I bought it at full price.It's very well made. The bag feels kind of like polyester or something and does a good job of straining solids from liquids. I was making rice wine and had 6 cups of fermented rice that needed to be squeezed and drained. It all fit (the original 6 cups of rice becomes less than 6 cups due to the process of fermenting). I was able to squeeze the liquid from the rice. Nothing ripped and everything filtered well. I'm satisfied with the purchase.On a side note, the company advertises free recipe and ebooks with purchase. It's on their website. You need to give them an email to access them (there's three in total). I wouldn't say it's completely worthless but I'd bet you can find the same info on the web...without giving an email.

I have never purchased this type of product in the past and thought why would I need a bag to make nut milk, which i have done in the past with cheesecloth. Never again. What an amazing difference this product has made and I decided to buy 2! First of all the construction is outstanding and it worked like a charm. Filtered the nut resins and solids perfectly. But the huge value is not only in the product but the company and customer service gets 10 stars. They are super responsive, committed and caring which makes this particular company stand above and beyond the rest. If you make nut milk or anything that requires fine mesh straining, this is the way to go. I was amazed at the companies outreach just to check in on how I liked the product, delivery time etc... and how committed they are to insuring every customer is 150% satisfied. A rare mentality in the ecommerce world. I hope they stick around for a long time!!

First time user making almond milk from scratch. Let me say this is the best tasting almond milk I've ever made. Very easy: soak one cup whole almonds overnight in the fridge. Rinse and drain off all water. Place in blender with 3 cups filtered water. Let the blender do its thing! After a few minutes, pour the mixture in the bag. Place the bag in a large bowl to catch the milk. Close the bag using the drawstring and twist until all milk has drained from the almond pulp. The bag is very easy to clean. You will get some very small particles of almonds in the milk but it's great fiber. Some add vanilla and cinnamon. I enjoy it plain. You will never buy store bought almond milk again!

These bags are 2-3 stars.Pros:They work.They are double sewn, which helps to prevent pulp leaking through a stitch, as does tend to happen over time with nut milk bags.Cons:THEY SHRINK - think you have ordered a large nut milk bag? For the first use, you sure did! Immediately after the first use however, they will be 50% of their initial size; fabric-shrinking and permanent accordion folds in the fabric are to blame. There is no way the bag will ever take the large, original shape. Don't even bother trying. Save yourself the hassle.They are made with such a stiff, thick material that it makes handling the bag a bit difficult during operation. Perhaps the insanely thick material adds to the strength of the bag, but in my opinion, its too much.Again, they do indeed work. But be aware, they do not hold up, and they are therefore not suitable for multiple uses.

I recently started juicing, and have found that I am not a fan of chunky juices (I know I know, thats where all the fiber is). I ordered this bag and absolutely love it. Not gonna lie, took some trial and error - dont try to put this bag over the pitcher/blender, or youll spill all over the counter. Instead, I put the bag in a large bowl and pour into the bag. Great at straining, and pretty easy to clean. I am so, so happy with this purchase.

I have used the bag only once but it worked very well. I steamed some cauliflower rice to make a cauliflower crust pizza. The recipe requires getting the water out of the cauliflower after steaming. I therefore put it in my Nut bag and squeezed the water out easily . Next time I will use the bag to make some almong milk. After handwashing/rinsing the Nut milk bag i dried it upside down on my paper towel holder.

Did my first batch ever of nut milk with this nut milk bag. It works perfectly. I made creamy delicious nut milk - so much better than what you would buy in the grocery store. Then I got an idea and put carrots in the vitamix with some water and I squeezed out carrot juice - yum! And carrot tops, too! I thought for sure I would stain the nut milk bag....nope! Washes out clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!

I actually use this bag to make my cold brew coffee. It works perfectly for putting the coffee grounds in and let it steep that way. It makes straining the grounds much easier. I will squeeze the liquids out as much as I can, then I will place the bag in a strainer and let it sit and finish draining. Works like a charm.
