Many of my formulas do have lots of ingredients, but this one is mysteriously simple. It relies on a wonderful synergy of “the antioxidant powerhouse” (orangutan-habitat-safe) red palm oil, the cooling (virgin, organic, unrefined, cold-press) coconut oil, hydrating golden jojoba oil, and a few essential oils chosen for their broad-range skin-rejuvenating, firming, brightening, and anti-inflammatory topical effects. Tangerine Skies provides almost instant, lasting surface hydration (important for the younger, under 40-45, users who may not have deep wrinkles or sagging but look dehydrated right in the outer skin layer) without shine. The skin looks healthier, better nourished, firmer, with a healthy coloring and glow. It is softer and smoother. This is a fast-absorbing, velveteen-feel facial oil for daily use in any season. Its scent is balanced, refreshing, and uplifting melissa-tangerine with a complimentary underlayer of coconut. The consistency of the oil will be liquid or semi-liquid depending on the ambient temperature. Highest quality, so orange, it is almost red, virgin palm oil used in this product, contains the highest amount of carotenes (beta-carotene and lycopene) in the plant kingdom, plus vitamin E and precious antioxidants named tocotrienols, which have 60 times the power of vitamin E. I find precursors of vitamin A (carotenes) and of vitamin E (tocotrienols) to be more bioavailable than the actual vitamins, so when added to skin care products, they act in a milder and somehow more natural way on the skin; they beautify without risks of irritation, peeling, allergic reactions, or photosensitization.
