The box is pretty much what we expected. We did not plan to use it as a "display piece". It was used to intern a family member's ashes and it served that purpose well. If one wants a box to keep on a mantle or bookshelf, I might suggest that you look for a higher quality piece which would, of course, cost considerably more. This is nice enough and is certainly much more affordable than most urns that I researched. We were pleased with it.

It was a great buy for the price. Very nice! I was concerned because of the low cost, but we were very satisfied. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because I was told it should have a way to secure it closed. I don't see it just coming open or anything.... I think the man at the funeral home was just upset we didn't spend hundreds of dollars for one of theirs.

I was very satisfied with my purchase. The workmanship was excellent, The price point was perfect. The shipping was speedy. I thought the wooden urn was masculine and most appropriate for the memorial service for my husband. Definitely recommend the Urn Company. So many choices but this one was perfect for my situation.

This urn was just beautiful. We set it up with an 8 x 10 picture and a dozen red roses and we had so many compliments. So glad we did it and it was only a fraction of the cost of an urn at the funeral home. I will do it again without hesitation.
