It is rather flimsy, it bends even more when you try to use it, it's not made of steel but some soft silver metal. Chrome plating is already flaking off in one use. This one will be going into the scrap bin soon. Not only is the spark bigger but it works with every strike. With my old fashion one, I would have to try two or three times before I could lite my propane torch, even with a new flint. The wider design of the grip area also feels a lot more comfortable in the hand than the old wire design.
