Tacony Incredible Threadable Box-82 Spools 8082

This is nice for what I needed. A beginners starter package. Now that I know what I'm doing, I'll start buying the larger spools of thread.

Sadly, this was the thread recommended by my machine manufacturer, but it simply would not run smoothly through my machine. I had to send it back and was disappointed to see that I was charged a re-stocking fee by World Weidner/Amazon or both...I lost $40.00 on the return!!! I was shocked to say the least and I have ordered a lot of supplies from this vendor, but have since taken my purchasing elsewhere b/c of this hefty fee I was not aware of. So Beware if you're not certain and try one spool of thread from each brand first, otherwise it makes for miserable embroidery.

Beautiful shiny colors, locking spools and storage organizer keeps everything in its place. Two of the small spools are in each labeled compartment. The top row of compartments on each side is reserved for use to feed the thread to your machine. The spools from the threadart sets fit one to a compartment and feed very well from this stand as well. The brother spools with the large plastic locking bottom do not fit. There are two spools of bobbin thread included It looks a little fuzzier than the brother thread I am currently using but will give it a try. Half the designs on the disk bundled with this set will work with my Brother and its 100x100 embroidery field. Tthe other half will need to be resized first I purchased this for the thread, not the designs, they were just bonus. Overall I am very pleased with this set..

I sew - a lot! This is a wonderful collection of threads. Tacony is the same as Madeira, which is the only thread I will use in my Husqvarna Viking machine. I prefer this thread to Sully, but I might be a little biased since this is the thread my sewing store gave me with the machine and I've never had a problem. I use it for bobbins, too when making items that can be seen from both sides. (Otherwise, I use prethreaded bobbins) BONUS: If you have an embroidery machine, the case of these threads is also a threader! You can pull selected threads through threaders at the top of the case and use them right out of the box! How cool is that? (Seller needs to highlight this feature more since it really is special and different!) Buy this set - you will love it!

The Madeira thread is great, of course, and the box itself is brilliantly designed. Well worth it to buy this bigger box.
