Worth every penny
Everything about this set was perfect. The packaging was very high end and showed a level of detail that impressed me. Setting up the home base and sensors was very simple. All you have to do is capture the QR code and follow the instructions on your phone. The only issue I had was adding a sensor to doors that are recessed (or have a frame that wouldn't allow enough clearance for a protruding magnet). The magnet simply won't fit in a recessed door unless you carve out part of the frame. I wasn't sure I needed the motion detector but was glad it came with the package since I couldn't use a door sensor on one entrance. The motion sensor took care of that area so I still know if someone enters my home. You also don't need the alarm siren if you have the home base. I bought both not knowing the home base will announce alarms. Over all, I'm very impressed and feel so much safer. Not needing to purchase a yearly subscription is the cherry on top!

Great for an Apartment Renter!
Excellent products for an apartment! Works great, easy install with the double sided tape. For the price, the system is great and it will be easy to remove when moving out. It's also nice to see that Eufy has brought out more accessories for this system. I am very happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend it for those renting an apartment. Just easy to install, easy to remove with the tape that has never, ever come loose, I think this is a great not overly expensive alarm system for apartment renters. Very happy with product and price!

NO BS, NO MONTHLY FEES, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE - Glitches here and there :(
Want a security system YOU control with the OPTION for proffesional surveillance and NO MANDATORY monthly fines? You've found your place. I was even happier to know they are connected with ANKER. The amazing tech company I can't stop applauding. (I know them best for power banks and earbuds) Alas, you're here for a real review, so here is why I marked 4 STARS. PLEASE NOTE: I started with two 2k solocams. PRIOR to this keypad security kit. I haven't been this excited about a product in years. In fact I hardly EVER make reviews. It sounds too good to be true. The price... the no monthly fees... down to the easy accessibility from my phone. Lets just say it isn't all easy though. Upon setting up the security system with the keypad like above, it refused to connect to my cameras saying "add homebase before adding" which i very much had attached to my account. After several hours on the app intermittently, i threw up the white towel and called the company for assistance. They had an option to call back rather than me wait. Thank goodness too! Life comes at ya fast! Anyways, after a pleasant conversation with a representative and some renewed braincells, It was concluded that I had 2k solocams with a homebase 2 which wasn't compatible... bummer but not the end of the world. The cameras still work and I still get notifications for anything detected or look when I please. The only downside is that it's not grouped together in the commands with the homebase 2. Later on though, and the biggest contribution to the lost star, the motion sensor with the security kit didn't connect like the door sensors... similar to the cameras it kept saying "add a homebase" so I assumed it wasn't compatible either. Until I tried again a few days later and it was connected in a matter of seconds. It sounds like a glitch that my account didn't recognize my homebase. Hopefully when I can get a homebase 3 that issue was taken out! I love the service so far and can't wait to decorate my house with all the lovely additions! I'm raving to everyone! Just be sure to check compatabilities.

Great security system for apartments and small spaces.
After almost a year of use of Eufy alarm system I would say its a great system for limited purpose. It will NOT replace an exterior alarm system. The sound of the alarm is low, which is great for apartments or if the use will be more for monitoring than deterrence. Here I share some pros and cons. Pros: • Door sensor can be used as door chime. • Easy and quick setup. • Small and lightweight. • Quickly notify any setup event to the phone. Even when the Homebase is not working properly (see cons). i.e. if a door is opened a notification is received within a second. • Schedule modes, setup multiple users/ passwords. Cons: • Homebase reliability: Once in a while I have had to restart the Homebase because the chimes are not working. I have been unable to restart the homebase thru the App even though it has an option. • Automation limitations: Some devices can be linked to the Homebase, others can not. Read carefully before purchasing. But it is easy to control each device within the App.

Easy to install and setup, a great DIY solution for the price
I purchased this alarm kit since I own a set of eufycam 2C at home. The good thing is I can use my existing home base to add this alarm system under the same eco-system. This alarm kit is easy to install and setup. The quality is solid. So far, everything works well, tried the alarm, and it sounds loud. Besides, it seems the battery life of the motion sensor and the entry sensor is quite long, which is good considering the price point. No monthly fee is good. The eufy security app is easy to use as well. The only complaint so far is that the eufy home alarm kit has not added any options of 24/7 professional monitoring services. I really hope eufy can add this feature in the future because I do wish there is a professional team that can back me up in case something bad happens. Overall, this product is good and very easy to install and setup. This is a good option for DIY home alarm systems for the price.

Better than I expected. Painless setup. Monthly subscription free
I bought this system to extend my Ring home security system I had for years. This system along with two Contact Sensors. The cost of the Eufy system for monitoring is $0 comparing $99 annual contract from Ring. The system comes packaged nice a secure, which I am thankful for since the deliver person wasn't gentle dropping the box on my porch. I had downloaded the app and registered before the system arrived, so that part was taken care of. The included instructions and phone app walk you through the setup. It was painless and completed in about 10 minutes. I set up everything on my dining room table to go through the registration process. Once done, I installed the components where the old hardware was. Eufy security system includes everything you need to mount (double sided tape and/or screws) all the components. Registering for monitoring was very simple too. One thing I learned that I want to pass on. The app could use some tweaks to guide you customize your notifications a little more and tweak the contact choices, but overall I'm satisfied. I was looking at the competitors system like Nest and Arlo, but this is a better value, no subscription fee. Final verdict, smart home security system is a relatively mature market. I decide to give new brand a try for the sake of economic consideration & I am not disappointed at all.

Eufy’s “Security” System Is a Dangerous Joke. Weak Alarm, Misleading Info, and Useless Support
I spent over $400 on what I thought was a full Eufy home security setup. I bought the HomeBase 2, the 5-piece sensor kit, smart lock, doorbell camera, outdoor camera, chime, and more. I expected to feel safe in my home. Instead, I got a system that can barely be heard and a support team that doesn’t even understand how their own products work. Only the HomeBase 2 makes a sound when the alarm is triggered. None of the sensors, cameras, or other components ring. Just one small box with a 100 dB siren sitting upstairs next to my router. I live in a two-story home. One day the alarm rang for hours and I didn’t even notice. Neither did my neighbors. What kind of security system is that? When I contacted customer service, I explained everything clearly. I gave them the facts, the issue, and the exact solution. Their replies were insulting. They asked me if I had tried turning up the volume. I had. They told me to try different alarm tones. I had. They told me to move the HomeBase, even though I clearly said it had to stay next to the router. Then they told me to use my doorbell camera as a siren, which is connected to a chime and would go off with every passerby. It’s not even linked to the HomeBase alarms. That suggestion made no sense at all. Then came the most ridiculous part. They actually asked me if my house had walls. Yes, my house has walls. That’s how houses work. If your product can’t be heard through a wall, it’s not fit to be called a security system. It got worse. They asked if my motion sensors and entry sensors made noise. These devices do not emit sound. They never have. It’s shocking that their own support team doesn’t even know how their products function. That’s basic information and they clearly didn’t have it. They also told me Eufy doesn’t make a separate siren. I had to send them a link to their own siren listed on Amazon before they even acknowledged it existed. I asked for two of them to be sent to me as a fair resolution. After dodging the request with emotional reassurances and irrelevant replies, they just stopped responding. To make things even more frustrating, one of the cameras I bought wasn’t compatible with the system. I only found this out through trial and error, because the product description doesn’t mention it. Nowhere does it say it won’t work. That’s on them. There’s no actual customer service number. You’re left emailing support reps who don’t read your messages, don’t know the products, and give you useless copy-paste responses while stalling you into silence. I handed them the solution. I explained the problem from day one. I did all the work for them. The moment I had an airtight case and knocked down every excuse they had, they disappeared. If you want a system that’s reliable, loud, and backed by people who care about your safety, this isn’t it. The design is flawed, the listings are misleading, and the customer service will waste your time until you give up. I regret buying this. You will too. Update: After weeks of trying to work with Eufy support, I was offered a refund that doesn’t even cover the cost of fixing the problem. I asked for two sirens so the system could function properly, or a refund to cover the actual price. They refused both and closed the case. Since I pointed out the siren was on Amazon, it was suddenly removed and now only shows up on their website. I gave them every chance to resolve this and they chose not to. Think twice before trusting this system to protect your home.

Good home alarm set
I purchased this alarm set to replace the old ADT alarm set in an older home. Installation of the sensors was simple and quick. I mounted each set of sensors with the sticky glue pad and also secured them with the provided screws due to the strong magnetic force pulling a magnet to the nearby sensor in proximity. For reliable connection, I chose to connect the home base to the internet using the provided Ethernet cable. I installed the keypad on the wall along a hallway next to a protected receptacle with USB (see attached pic). I read the instructions for each of the devices a couple of times which were clearly written with illustrations, then I followed the instructions to the letter for step-by-step installation starting with the home base, the keypad, and lastly the sensors to get them all working together before actually mounting the sensors. The whole process of installation was simple, I didn't encounter any issue (such as firmware update, and dead batteries) described by some reviewers. The alarm set has been working as expected since it was installed. By default, the home base will notify you of all open and close events detected by the sensors, which may be too much for some folks. However, the controller app, which is easy to navigate, would allow you to customize the settings for each of the sensors to minimize or turn-off notification completely. You can choose "Home" or "Away" mode either by using the app or by using the keypad, which will require validation with the PIN first. 12/12/23 Update: An update of the Eufy Security app on my mobile device sometimes last week causing the following issues: 1) I couldn't open it, it kept crashing, 2) The annoying warning "This accessory is not supported" kept popping-up, 3) whatever the app was doing, it caused the battery to drain fairly quickly, I had to recharge it multiple times each day, I never had to do that in the past. To fix the crashing issues, I had to delete the app then reinstall it from the Apple Store. Reduced 1 star for poor quality app.

Anker Quality is amazing - No hesitation in recommending this security system.
This is an amazing system. It has seamless integration, is incredibly easy to use and has responsive tech support. No reservations in recommending this system. Anker quality is second to none. I added the wireless doorbell to this system and the floodlights. Everything fits together nicely from a single user interface. It’s great that there are no fees since it’s self monitoring you can add as many users to monitor this. You don’t need to depend on external storage or offsite data since everything is saved locally. Update: This is a fairly new system in competition with ring and nest. I found a couple of bugs in the firmware which I brought to the attention of Eufy / Anker. They were incredibly responsive and when dealing with tech support on many iterations until all the bugs were fixed. The great thing is they kept contacting me and would not stop :) until all my issues were resolved. So yeah, I’m really happy. I’d get the system again in a heartbeat.

Super easy set up
Easy to set up. And loud enough to scare off intruder..i think. Also, very versatile in usage and sensors are readily available anywhere when decided to add more.

Is a US product.
The price was right, but factor in buying a 12V 2A adaptor with an Australian plug. Warranty may or may not be easy to get too. Easy to use and install but left disappointed getting a US product.

No cumple con la norma mexicana
El adaptador de corriente es europeo y no sirve para México.
