I decided it was finally time to get my own. He has a single vane Fletching jig and it was nice but it was hard to set up. I bought a boning single vane Fletching jig and I had problems with it holding the arrow steady in the Nock point. So I sent it back and bought the Bohning tower jig and I couldn't be more happier. I bought the complete kit and to my surprise it came with every arrow diameter you could possibly use on this jig. And what I didn't know it came with 9 clamp release tapes that you put on the arrow vane clamps so the glue don't stuck to your clamps. I would have known that this kit came with nine of them I would I have ordered more separately. I bought a 20 pack and I have enough clamp tapes to last me a lifetime. This jig has made life easier and if you use Arrow wraps all you have to do is peel the wrap off if you were to happen to damage a vane and everything comes off and one swoop. I used the boning Fletch Tite Platinum and it works great with a quick cure time of 15 seconds and I released a jig and take the arrow up and I've had no problems yet. With this kit you can do right or left helical or straight veins and you know all your veins are in the correct spot every time. I highly recommend this jig it has made Fletching arrows fun and easy. Even though the directions were small and not super detailed it was really easy to put together and only took a few minutes. I fletched 9 arrows the first night and it only took me about 20 minutes. That was with me working pretty slow. I messed up one time. I love that it does all 3 vanes at once but if you rush it is possible to not have them align perfectly. I went slow from that point on and it didn't happen again. I haven't had an arrow yet that don't work on it. And I shoot all kinds of arrows. From micro to the big fat arrows. **Q: i would assume glue gets on the arms on this jig. what do you guys use to clean the glue off?** A: I use the protective tape on each arm, then wipe excess off with rubbing alcohol. I am getting better also at applying the glue. It takes a very small bead of glue to hold the vanes, so don't over apply. I love my Helix Tower Jig. Had a few do overs in the beginning, but they get better. **Q: Does this jig work for large diameter arrows like the black eagle ps23?** A: I don't think so. It comes with a variety of posts to accommodate different size arrows. But I don't think it has any that large. I would recommend purchasing this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Like new" my a**, but otherwise this thing's amazing *by J***. on July 10, 2024* Should've been five stars, but Amazon majorly dropped the ball. I decided to save a few bucks and purchased a "used - like new" one (sold directly from Amazon, not even a third party) instead of going for a new one. Big mistake, this thing was absolutely caked in solidified adhesive. Truly, it looked like someone got this for their kindergartener who wanted to try fletching arrows for some reason, and then promptly returned it without even the slightest attempt to clean it. Everything was just thrown around in the box and a few pieces were missing too, but thankfully, I didn't need those parts. But anyway, after a LONG while of scrubbing all the arms and the base with acetone (and delicately chipping at dried glue like I was an archeologist), it works great. I got two dozen arrows set up with new vanes in about two hours. This thing's a piece of cake to operate, so I have no idea how its previous owner botched their attempt so badly. Left helical fletching wildly improved my groupings too, my arrows all fly like darts now instead of wobbling a good bit before straightening out. I don't get why almost all arrow manufacturers default to a right offset now when most bows' strings are twisted clockwise. I'll be buying bare shafts from here on out since doing it myself is not only weirdly meditative, but it resulted in significantly more consistent accuracy.
