Ok can be a bit irritating

it has many settings and is loudI cant see my front office door so it works perfect as an alert systemit is affected by shadows of cars driving by so its is decently sensitive.i cant complain it serves its purpose and in an great price range

Very loud. After ding dong, a voice says, "hello, welcome." Very annoying for a door that is being opened all day, especially for the ones who are leaving! The description says nothing about it saying hello welcome after every single ding dong.

Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't. It even goes off when no one is near it!

The sensor is lacking sensitivity. I use them in group homes to know when people leave bedrooms and they only go off maybe 50 percent of the time.

After being installed for only a month the alarm works only intermittently. By the time it started to malfunction it was past the time for returning the item. I would not recommend this.
