MICROSHIFT ADVENT X R DERAIL REAR DERAILLEUR MED CAGE 10-SPD BLACK

It works awesome on 11-50t 10-speed cassette with microSHIFT road shifter on my 1x gravel bike.The cage design where the upper chain pulley axis is offset from the cage folding axis is brilliant - this provides almost constant gap between the chain pulley and selected sprocket (see pictures). All gear shifting is smooth and reliable as a result. (Shimano derailleurs e.g. RD-M7100 have similar design, but I was not sure to find 10 speed road shifter compatible to any of those).Large shifter cable travel makes errors in cable positioning negligeable. I got this for my kids bike as I did not want to waste a bunch on a derailleur that might be ruined. Having fewer gears is better for them as well to be honest. It worked great. I ended up buying another for the next bike I built for another kid as well. They are great products and fairly priced. We should reward such behavior as consumers.

Great upgrade to bike. Be sure and set your limits properly and you should have no issues.

Easy to install and adjust. Shifts super smooth. Great addition to my gravel bike. The 1x10 drivetrain is so much nicer than a 2 or 3x.

3x9 conversion to 1x10 with trigger shifter, cassette, and chainring purchased along with deraileur. this is a great option to reuse a 9-speed hub and the actuation is reliable and consistent, feeling similar to other shimano and sram products.

So I'm new to the whole MicroShift thing and I took a risk. Glad I did, because this system works great. The only drawbacks are lack of visual flair (no big deal) and a bit more effort to shift, versus my old SRAM system. BUT, for the money this system cannot be beat. I went with the AdventX system (10spd) and the entire system cost less than my old SRAM DERAILLEUR! Super value, great performance.Can't comment on durability, as I've only had the system on for two months, and we'll see.

I buy this groupset for every older bike that needs updated to a 1x drivetrain with a clutch. Takes ride park abuse. Great range. Great shift quality.
