I have this Gorilla Matt in front of my kitchen sink and it has had just normal wear and tear. But just recently I've noticed that it was tearing and has cracking all around it. I also have another very long matt and it's getting cracks in it. I know that my warranty is up for them, but I was wondering what to do for them, how to fix them? I've really enjoyed having them as I have extremely bad feet and ankles. So I need to stand on cushions. I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue. Please tell me what to do and how to fix them both. I've taken care of these both, so it's nothing on my part that could have caused this issue. We have ceramic tile floors in our kitchen. Standing on them cooking or doing dishes is very tiring, These mats do wonders for relieving back pain and sore feet for standing on the tile. We have been very happy with them. They look good, stay in place and are comfortable.

I actually have two of these mats. My sister bought one for me as a house gift for in front of the sink. I like it so well that 2 years later I bought one for in front of the stove. They are comfortable and very easy to clean.

Mat slides around more than I expected. I think something is available to minimize that. Otherwise no problems.

This is my 3rd purchase of these mats. I love these mats but they crack on the surface. I am trying one more time. I have bought red, light blue and now mint. I wipe off with a damp paper towel and stand on the mat when washing dishes. I have problems with my feet and this is a therapeutic item for me. So far this mat is holding up and If it cracks I will document length of time. Another thing is the mat shifts constantly on my floor. I have a smooth shiny tile floor.5-26-23

I use this in a woodworking shop - these mats (black surface) are stress relieving and tough - easy to clean (great smooth waterproof surface). To answer other's questions - this is not a rug (not sure why they call it that) - which would never work in a shop. Gorilla makes a great product and this one doesn't disappoint. Would highly recommend the 3/4 inch thick - 1 inch mats tend to be too soft, 1/2 inch mats are not comfortable - this one is just right. The bottom of the mat has a non slip grip surface which is fabulous on a concrete floor.
