After adding granite countertops and new tile backsplash under our cabinets, we wanted lights to highlight the new look. I purchased some stick-on "pucks" that worked really well, but they were battery operated and not very bright. I hardly turned them on because I didn't want to use up the batteries. The 6 lights had a remote control with lots of features and functions, and that was the best part of the light kit. I began looking for a set that I could plug in and leave on. There are lots of lights on Amazon, but these got good ratings. Wow they surpassed my expectations. They are much brighter than my pucks, although they can be dimmed to any level, and the settings are remembered when you turn the lights back on. Not only are there the three frequencies to go from cold to warm, but there is also a "dimmer" where you can put it anywhere in the range from 3,000 to 6,000 Hz. I had to use 3 sets because we didn't want the lights to run across or under the window above our sink, so I had to use one set on each side. But it was great that I could cut them to the exact size I needed. And the biggest bonus for my setup is that the remote control works on every strand! I thought I was going to need to use 3 separate remotes, but I only need one for the 3 sets. Now I have 2 spares remotes! Installation was a breeze and for each set, it took 5 minutes or less. They stick to the underside of the cabinets and that was it. You can't see the light strips, only the light that they give off. This is a very inexpensive way to brighten up your kitchen or where ever else you might choose to use them. I'm now thinking about other places that I could put another set for accent lighting.

Edit to add: my original light strip wasn't working but lepro immediately sent me a replacement (literally the next morning). They're working now and they look great!!! I will absolutely be buying lepro light strips again I spent 4hrs installing these LEDs on a complicated built in shelf only to find out the off button doesn't work on the remote. Not sure what to do now as I can't return them since the strip is already nailed in place, glued and cut to fit. They won't turn off and they won't dim

I installed this LED light strip under a cabinet above a crafting bench. I ran the strips back and forth under the cabinet to increase the light. Even with multiple rows of lights under the cabinet, it did provide a fair amount of light, but not quite enough for me to do detail work. But, it does work great for ambient lighting. Now, if you install them without the back and forth, it should work great for accent lighting. What I liked: 1. The LED light strip was easy to install. The adhesive has held up well so far and I had no issues making the bends to route it around corners. Make sure you carefully bend it at the plastic areas and not at any of the components on the strip. There are plenty of instructions available online if you're not sure how to bend your LED light strip. If you don't like the look of that, you can search for "3 pin LED strip connectors" here on Amazon and there are some sets (starting around $8) that will help you route the strip if aren't planning on running a straight line. 2. The remote seems to work well, with one drawback, in my opinion. The presets at the bottom of the remote have a pre-programmed brightness set. So, if you want to change the brightness, set the color temperature and then turn the brightness up. It seems to remember the previous setting, but using the preset buttons will reset the brightness. 3. I love the adjustable color temperature. The middle setting (with both warm and cool LEDs on) will provide the most brightness (because both LEDs are on). I prefer daylight color if I'm working on something, but something more like a soft white for ambient lighting. If you do need something brighter, consider doubling up the strip OR finding a LED light strip with more LEDs. Since the controller/remote is the most expensive part of the kit, the kit that has double the length is only $7 more (at the time of this review).

I used this product to add lighting to our upper kitchen cabinets. We had installed under mount lighting a few years back so I wanted something that came close to the same color of lights we already had. I am happy I came across these. They match perfect and I must say I am impressed with the quality of the lights. They are very bright. The only thing I noticed is that the remote that it comes with responds very well at times and other times you have to double press to get it to work. Its not a big issue for us since we only have it set to one setting. I definitely think they are worth the buy.

The lights are gorgeous, and they do just what I wanted them to do. I put three art pieces into a space in my kitchen meant for a microwave. I edged the lights around the lip of this space, and they light up a sculpture, a vase, and a platter beautifully. There are three light permutations, warm white, cool white and a combination. The combination is perfect. There is only one problem: the remote is so glitchy that I barely ever turn it on. This is a huge disappointment. I can turn it on easily, but turning it back off is nearly impossible. Changing the lights from warm white to the other combos is equally impossible. So while the lights will almost certainly be perfect for your purpose, pray that you get a remote that works. Otherwise it's hit and miss over whether you'll use the system.

Buyer beware! I made the mistake of trying to install these on a step stool by myself. Early in the installation, I dropped the spool and the light strip tore. :( Luckily, my return was approved and I got a replacement with the knowledge that I would need to rethink my approach. This time around: perfection! The adhesive is really strong, the light is perfect to add ambient lighting to a relatively dark room, and my two homeschooled boys love "party mode" (flashing). So glad I found this inexpensive solution to our school room lighting needs!

Update! Didnt think was even going to install these on my display shelfs. Bought kits so didnt have to kink corners and could get cleaner lighting look from certain angles. Instead of tossing or donating decided to install and give them a chance. So for $20 they turned out pretty well, not optimal, still worried about how kinked corners will stamd the test of time. Manual indicates to just kink in the corners to transition though. So we shall see. Upgrading to 4 star, really do like the brightness option. Remote does not pickup past 5 ft away, so thats sorta lame. So these are alot cheaper than other brands have purchased, they cost about half the average. No protection on lighting so damages easy, the end of the strip in the roll about a foot or so not usable due to kinks. When searched for 4 pin 10mm and it provided these as a first result expected 4pin 10mm. They are 3 pin and wanted 4pin so could setup with my 4pin kits. So not optimal for my intended purpose.

We got this LED strip in May of 2021. We’ve used it every night from basically 5pm to 11pm and it’s shown no signs of slowing down. Even if this jinxes it, I’d still repurchase it based on price and performance so far. The 3 light temperatures offer nice variety (we like cool white for hockey games and warm light for ambiance), and the dimmable settings are much appreciated - these things are BRIGHT. Only downside is that the remote has to have unobstructed access to the receiver, so I have to aim it behind our tv. If you’re looking for something affordable, simple, and that’ll last at least 2 years without slowing down, these are great.

Bought these awhile back for my computer desk and they worked great, so I purchased them a second time for under cabinet lighting in a small apartment kitchen. Attached kitchen pics are light strip using the DW setting (cool blue max brighness) and also using the nighttime mode. All in all turned out well.

Overall I like these lights. I needed something to replace old fluorescent fixtures under my kitchen cabinets. These lights were easy to install and adhered strongly. However they are not very bright. I researched LED brightness and hoped that 600 lights would light up the kitchen as well as the old tubes did. Sadly not the case. They look nice and as it gets darker outside the brightness seems better (optical illusion?). I like the different color modes, though they would be better for mood lighting than kitchen workspace light. I wish they could be wired back into the switch for the old lights. the remote ended up being in a not so convenient place. Bottom line - nice lights, easy to install, look nice, not very bright.

Dead on arrival. They turned in briefly when coiled, put them up under my cabinet, wouldn’t turn on at all. Tested the plug, tested the remote battery, nothing. Better yet, when I tried to remove them to return them they just fell apart in my hands making them unreturnable. Avoid!
