Decent, no regrets
I bought two of these. Exactly as pictured. Each arrived unfolded in a long box that seemed to have after-factory tape reinforcements added at each end and stretch wrap all around. The boxes were not previously opened it is simply clear that the shipper was determined these would arrive in good shape. Consequently, they did. No damage noted whatsoever. It seems there is but a single exclusive distributor for these. As for weight, these bikes are nearly all aluminum and I mean to the furthest practical extent. (I tested all sections with a magnet.) The exceptions are ONLY items that should NOT be, specifically spokes, inner fork tubes, brake rotors, shock spring, and some obvious items like sprockets, axles, etc. Even the rims, cranks, and kickstand are aluminum. SO any weight to this bike is nothing but money in aluminum components, battery, and motor. I don't see how it could be lightened in any way desirable. The overall weight seems very reasonable to me, especially of something expected to last. The removable battery is just 4.1 pounds so not much advantage to removing that before lifting into a trunk. It folds easily, and compactly. The frame fold-lock mechanism is solid, free of any slop, and requiring two steps to unlatch. This bike is not a death machine, it gently assists pedaling, and if not pedaled the motor will cut out. I was going to spend twice on a alternative inexpensive folder, but thought I would first try these for a taste, and at worst leave them at our summer home. My total brat step daughter was initially disappointed these did not have a throttle as she imagined but she soon fell in love with them giving a 9/10. The wife also initially was a skeptic but now wants a front basket for hers. What can I say? Perhaps if you want an electric motorcycle, buy one of those. As for the battery it is NOT proprietary, rather quite common. You can get a replacement direct from China, via a popular Chinese shopping portal. Search "Frog" or "Seat Post" Electric Bike Battery 24V. I purchased a 10 AH replacement for $188 including shipping, and this comes as the complete mount you'll not need, the battery of course, and a charger. How about that, a spare charger for your spare battery. Battery models in the same case design are available up to 28 AH, but must be 24V or you will damage the motor. I'm still have no idea whether anything more than 10 AH is necessary. More later perhaps.Nothing wrong with the manual. Whats to know? In fact it was clear on how to fine adjust the alignment of the handlebars so they are totally square with the front wheel, something that would be terribly annoying to stare at if not perfect.Cons: 1) One of the bikes has an issue with the latch that secures the front handlebar upright. There is no user adjustment, either it works correctly or not. I was able to fix it with some careful filing, but it would have been beyond most people and best taken to a bike shop to have expertly "adjusted". Hopefully this was a fluke. I'm not taking away for it, not worth 1 of just 5 stars, but the manufacture should have check it. Disappointing.2) Small item. Due to the rear shock system, a heavy person can compress the seat post enough that the small screw tab on the bottom of the battery box will contact the rear fender just enough to lever it into the tire. Remove the two fender screws and lengthen the rear slot on the rear of the fender down the center another 1" x 3/4 long. A 1" belt sander will do the job in 10-seconds. Reinstall the fender but do not over tighten.3) Small item. The seat at its lowest point is still somewhat high but at least the frame is "step through". My wife is 5.0 and did manage NOT to complain. Hmmm.4) Small Item: One of the derailleurs may need slight adjustment, I am keeping an eye on it.I really must say I have no regrets.11/20/2016Speed adjustment. The LCD display is really the brains of the bike and has a max speed that can be changed. My two bikes both came set to 26” wheel size and 25km (15.5mph) max speed. But these settings are incorrect for the advertised 15.5 mph, as the wheel size should be set to 20” (the actual wheel size of this bike) or will make the controller believe the bike is covering more ground than actual and the motor will cut out at 12 mph as indicated by at least one reviewer. To correct this, turn on the main battery, then the display by pressing the M button. Now press and hold the + and – buttons simultaneously for two seconds. The wheel size is indicated. Press the - button until 20 in is displayed, then press the M button to confirm, the max speed of 25 kph (15.5 mph) is now displayed, and if so the settings are now correct, (however if allowed in your area, and I do not recommend it, press the + button to increase up to the max of 40kph (25mph) press the M button to confirm , LCD brightness is displayed, levels are 1,2,3, press the M button two seconds to exit. Note that it is doubtful the bike can sustain 25 mph for long even on flat, as the motor wattage is rather small as is the battery capacity, but at least the bike will no longer be artificially speed limited. In any case the 26” factory wheel setting is wrong! As a reminder, higher AH batteries are available, see above.

Extremely happy with this solid bike
What a great bike, and at a great price! When it arrived way earlier than expected, I was very pleased. The box was severely banged up during delivery, so I was a bit concerned that inside it may have been damaged. But it was well-protected and didn't even have a scratch. As other reviewers may have pointed out, the Owners Manual is not very clear. I figured out pretty easily how to fold and unfold the main chassis and handle bar (all very high quality) and how to easily charge the battery for the first ride. The bike came fully-assembled and even the tires were filled with air.Using the key to unlock the battery from its mount, I couldn't easily slide it off - (again, the manual wasn't clear) - and I didn't want to exert too much force in fear that I might damage the hard plastic track. I called the vendors Customer Service and they were extremely helpful. With Aaron on the phone, he explained to just give it a strong pull and to not be worried about it being damaged. He was absolutely right. Giving it a steady pull, it slid right off and was very easy to slide it back and lock it in place. He told me to not hesitate giving him a call if I ever have any other questions. Great Customer service! It is a bit heavy, but that shows how solidly it's built. Living on the third floor of a building with no elevator, I get a bit of a workout carrying it up and down the stairs. It's easier to carry up the winding stair case when it's folded ... so I use a piece of Velcro to hold the bike steady when folded. The pedal assist works great and is a LOT of fun! I zipped easily past other bicyclists on a designated bike path and took rolling hills with ease. You do need to keep gently pedaling, or the motor cuts out for safety reasons. The disc brakes stop on a dime, and the shocks made for a very comfortable ride. The little handlebar computer shows not only your battery status and easily changes the level of assistance, but I was surprised to see that it had a speedometer and odometer (but in kilometers). All in all, I highly recommend this fun bike. This will be my primary source of transportation in sunny San Diego. My apartment building manager was so impressed with it after I let him take it for a ride that he plans on buying one himself and maybe one for his wife!

Fantastic Bike!
This is one hell-of-a bike. The delivery was as smooth as any can be and arrived much earlier than the Amazon checkout says. Assembly is less than 15 minutes which truly only involves unpacking and unfolding the bike and installing the seat. I would like to by a second bike for my wife but the product is currently sold out. Also note that this version of the Cylamatic bike dioes have dual (shock absorbing) suspension. Definitely worth paying the additional money for this. My only beefs are that the user guide is not very good .... And I have been unable to find the manufacturers web site.
