Not a panettone
The wrapping is the most impressive part of this item but the contents disappoint. This is a rather small cake, very soft and mushy, the kind that sticks to your teeth. Panettone means large bread and it is a yeast bread, so this one was totally unlike any panettone I have had in my 80 years on earth. Some folks would probably love it. Flavor was OK.

Very disappointed the panettone is old and taste like it was baked one year ago is very hard to bite and taste strange we bought another 5 panettoni so far and this has been the worse and as Italian I feel cheated!

Delicious but.....
It is a delicious panettone but if you didn't read the label you would not know there are Figs inside. Also there is only a hint of chocolate with small chocolate morsels. This panettone is more dense than the more popular brands but I really liked the consistency. If the figs and chocolate were more prominent, I would definitely have given it five stars
