Great Bottle Warmer
Got this as a gift and loved it so much that I bought a second one - one for upstairs and one for downstairs. It made nighttime feeds so much easier while I was recovering and didn’t want to go up and down the stairs. It warms the bottles really fast, usually within a few minutes, but you do have to take them out right away or they can get too hot. There’s no beep or chime when it’s done, just a light, so it’s easy to miss if you’re focused on the baby. I just used my phone timer to make sure I didn’t leave it in too long.

Makes Bottle Prep Much Easier, Especially During Night Feedings
The Philips Avent bottle warmer has become one of those baby products that we used far more often than I originally expected. It is especially helpful during late-night and early-morning feedings when I want to warm a bottle quickly without standing over a bowl of hot water. The controls are straightforward once you understand how the settings correspond to the amount of milk in the bottle. I appreciate that it uses a water bath to warm the bottle gradually and evenly. The blinking progress light is also convenient because I can start building clean sterilized bottles from the Mom Cozy Bottle Washer while keeping an eye on the warmer. It works well with our bottles, does not take up much counter space, and feels sturdy enough for everyday use. There is a slight learning curve. The final temperature can vary depending on the bottle material, the amount of milk, and whether the milk starts at room temperature or comes directly from the refrigerator. I recommend checking the milk temperature before feeding and remembering which setting works best for your usual bottle size. And be sure to clean/rinse this out once a week with antibacterial dish soap to keep it hygenic, sometimes milk will spill into it somehow, and it gets pretty funky. BUT do keep in mind, if you leave it in too long, it will COOK the milk and you have to start over as bacteria builds if you overheat the milk. So be careful there and make sure it is room temp before serving to baby! I only used this for the first 5 months as baby started taking cold bottles around then. But for the first 3-4 months of newborn life, this is ESSENTIAL. Enjoy!

Gets the Job Done Well!
The perfect overnight warmer Turn it on before diaper change and it will be ready by the time you’re done without getting so hot that milk spoils Easy to use, tiny, consistent Just be warned, certain glass bottles can’t be put in this directly so it adds an extra step and bottle to clean for us

It gets the job done.
We have used this daily for about five months now. Overall, it gets the job done but it can definitely be a headache to deal with sometimes. Sometimes it gets really hot and other times you have to run it a second time to warm a bottle. It takes a really long time to warm a bottle which can be inconvenient, but other than that it’s worked.

Fast warming
This review is not to add nor subtract from other reviews, which are confirmed and validated by us. This is a very fast bottle warmer, but does not automatically enter warming sustaining mode. However, since it is extremely fast, with warming bottled water to drinkable warm temperature in under 2 minutes, one can watch the dial indicator showing the warming process (rotating LED light circling around the bottle size dial) and rotate the dial to the sustaining position (furthest dial counterclockwise position) to enter sustain mode. This warmer does not have adjustable temperature settings nor does it provide a temperature display, however, taking a reading after the bottle was warmed indicated that he warmed temperature to be 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit which is an acceptable temperature for most babies. It would be better if there were a way to set the temperature as babies’ preferences can vary. Otherwise, for the price and method of heating, this is a good alternative for a bottle warmer.

Straightforward to use and quiet
Very simple to use and quite reliable. I haven’t used the feature that keeps the milk warm. It’s also very easy to clean. Nevertheless, I’m so happy with this purchase. I previously purchased another bottle warmer from another popular brand, and it was complicated to use and didn’t warm the milk well. I immediately returned it. I’m glad our newborn care specialist recommended this product!

A Game-Changer for Late-Night Feedings: Philips Avent Premium Fast Bottle Warmer
As a new parent, I’ve learned that anything that makes feeding time easier is worth its weight in gold. The Philips Avent Premium Fast Bottle Warmer (Model SCF358) has quickly become one of those must-have tools in our household. With its smart temperature control, water bath technology, and automatic shut-off, it’s taken a lot of the stress out of warming bottles—especially during those bleary-eyed 3 a.m. wake-ups. Right off the bat, I was impressed by how simple it is to use. The design is sleek and compact, fitting neatly on our kitchen counter without hogging space. It’s got a straightforward dial interface with clear settings for different bottle sizes and starting temperatures (room temp, fridge, or frozen). No complicated buttons or menus to fumble with—just twist, press start, and go. The included guide gives you a rough idea of timing, like 3 minutes for a 5oz bottle from the fridge, which has been spot-on in my experience. The water bath technology is what sets this apart from the microwave method we used to rely on. It gently heats the milk or formula using warm water instead of direct heat, preserving nutrients and avoiding those dreaded hot spots that can burn a baby’s mouth. I’ve tested it with both breast milk and formula in our Avent bottles, and the results are consistently even—warm enough to satisfy my little one but never scalding. The smart temperature control keeps things steady, so I don’t have to hover and check it obsessively. Speed is another big win. It’s not instant (nothing safe should be), but it warms a 6oz bottle from the fridge in about 3-4 minutes, which feels like a miracle when your baby’s wailing. The automatic shut-off is a lifesaver too—once it’s done, it turns off on its own, so I can focus on soothing my kid instead of worrying about overcooking the milk. That feature alone has saved me from a few distracted mishaps. It works with more than just Avent bottles, which is handy. I’ve tried it with a couple of other brands we had lying around, and as long as they’re not too wide, it handles them fine. There’s even a defrost setting for frozen breast milk, which has been a clutch addition for our stash. Cleanup is a breeze—just empty the water after each use and wipe it down. Philips recommends descaling every few weeks with vinegar, which is simple enough to keep it running smoothly. There are a couple of small downsides. It’s not silent—the gentle hum of the heating element is noticeable, though it’s never bothered us much. Also, you need to add water manually each time (about a half cup), which isn’t a big deal but can feel like an extra step when you’re half-asleep. I wish it had a built-in water reservoir for multiple uses, but that’s a minor nitpick. Overall, the Philips Avent Premium Fast Bottle Warmer has made our feeding routine so much smoother. It’s reliable, safe, and fast enough to keep both me and my baby happy. Whether you’re a first-time parent or just looking to upgrade your bottle-warming game, this little machine delivers where it counts. I own 2 of these now, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

Great but could probably get something just as good for less.
This is a great warmer, but I think it's a little overpriced. $50 for a bottle warmer is a little overpriced in my opinion. We have this & it works, I've been using this daily for about a year now, but I have a few complaints. 1) it takes longer to warm up a bottle than it actually says. We do pitcher method for breastmilk & formula. Unfortunately, I can run a bottle through the warmer completely & it's still colder than my baby likes. Another issue, I have to turn the capacity up all the way for it still not to warm. I'm not talking about making it hot, just room temperature. At this point it makes better sense to put the bottle in the microwave. It's very frustrating especially when you have a crying baby. I also hate that I use this with multiple bottles wide & narrow & I never get the dr brown bottles (8oz narrow) warm. It takes even more to warm milk in those bottles because the warmer doesn't cover half of the bottle. It's rather frustrating especially since the dr brown bottles are very popular & my baby loves them. On to the pros. It is a small item so it doesn't take up an outrageous amount of counter space. It is also easy to put in a cabinet & hide away. I don't particularly find it super difficult to clean. You can wipe warmer down if something were to spill. It's really not a bad option, I just don't think it's worth $50 when there are other cheaper candidates.

A top leader brand’s appliance does not work
I did not want to believe the negative comments as we are talking about a leader brand in baby appliances but they are true! The bottle heater simply does not work. You prepare the formula, put the bottle in, select the correct setting and water level and it just does not heat it up! So you end up with a crying baby in the middle of the night who will be unable to go back to sleep easily…

Nighttime Lifesaver When Every Minute Counts!
The 3:00 AM Reality Check: If you have a newborn, you know that every second counts when they wake up hungry in the middle of the night. After testing several brands—including Dr. Brown’s (which are the bottles I actually use)—I found that the Philips AVENT Fast Warmer is the only one that consistently delivers. Real-World Performance: Most warmers I tried were either hit-or-miss with the temperature or took way too long. This unit uses a smart heat sensor that actually works. While other high-end warmers struggled to get the temperature right, this one hits the sweet spot almost every time. Pros: * Speed: It’s noticeably faster than the competition, which is crucial during late-night feedings. * Consistency: Unlike other brands where the milk comes out too hot or too cold using the same settings, this one is very reliable. * Smart Design: The sensor technology makes it much more "set and forget" than cheaper manual versions. Cons: * No Audible Alert: My biggest gripe is the lack of a beep or alarm. The light ring pulses while heating and stays solid when ready, but if you’re distracted by a crying baby, it’s easy to miss. * Overheating Risk: If you leave the bottle in past the "ready" signal, the milk will continue to heat up. Pro Tip for Parents: Since there’s no alarm, make Alexa, Siri, or Google Home your best friends. As soon as I drop the bottle in, I set a voice timer. This ensures I grab the bottle the second it’s ready to avoid any overheating. Final Verdict: Whether you’re a new parent or looking for a baby shower gift that people will actually use, this is it. It’s faster, more consistent, and more reliable than more expensive alternatives. Highly recommended!
