I just received this nice sized magnet with info for smoking on the grill/smoker. It's sturdy, a nice large size, and being a magnet, it'll be right on my frig and I'll be able to access the info anytime I need it. Very pleased with the quality. If you are looking for something like this, I highly recommend it.

Apparently we have a difference of opinion as to the rating scale. In my world 3 (in a 1 to 5 scale) means it meets my expectations. Anything above that means my expectations were exceeded and below 3 means they have some work to do. Therefore, 3 should be acceptable.Now, that having been said, I am quite pleased with the smoking guide I received from Cave Tools. It's very handy and contains a lot of information in a small area. It got here in two days! Those are the good pieces.In the '3' (again, "meets expectations") range, I was surprised that it wasn't made of metal There isn't anything that tells me how hot I can get the thing without melting it. Can I place it directly on the hinged smoker top? The top gets too hot to keep your hand on during use. Some guidance would be nice.OK, let's recap... One minor item and two pretty good pluses... sounds like a good solid 4 to me.Thanks for the guide, the quick delivery, and the follow-up note.Any info on temperature resistance of the guide would be appreciated, (I don't want to find out what the melting temperature is at home).Thanks!!Bill

Best way to get meat meat cook cooked to the right temperature

I stuck it on the door to my Bradley smoker great reference for temperature and how long the smoke meat for.

Reading reviews and loving to use my grill for different foods I thought this would be an excellent addition to my smoker. It arrived timely and the price was sweet. However the problem happen right from the get go. A sticker was placed across one side. Didn't figure that would be much of a problem until I tried to take it off. Couldn't use a knife to scrape it. So i used water, no such luck. Then use an alcohol pad to cut through the glue. If you use anything, including water, and try to rub the sticker of, the color and printing under the sticker come off too. In other words I have to leave the sticker in place covering information or rub it off along with the information around and under the sticker. This really sucked in my case as I tried to rub it off. The sticker has a bar code and other information on it for the logistic types to get it to find in inventory and then package up and ship. I get it. But it could have very easily ben put on the back so as not to interfere with the information that you buy this item for. Yes I still have it attached to my smoker but I'm not happy with the missing information and black rub spots. It does stick well on the smoker and I like the way the information is laid out. Just that pesky sticker messed this item up to the point of not being able to give it the excellent rating it should have gotten.
