Great hand tool - and easy to modify into a bench tool
Work as promised. Great ferrule crimpers (and no, autocorrect, they aren’t crumpets…). I just wish there were an easy way to modify it to be a bench tool. Next time I have 400 crimps to make, I'll simply buy this tool again and make it into a bench tool myself. UPDATE: Faced with the last 200 (of 400) crimps, I decided to go ahead and McGyver it into a bench tool, using stuff readily at hand: • Using two small-ish straight-blade screwdrivers on the 'static' handle, it was easy to release the clips holding the orange handle cover without destroying it. Removing this was necessary in order to retain full-throw to crimp completely when adding something to hold the tail end of that handle down. • A Romex staple holds-down that tail end of the static handle. • A coupla drywall screws with two 3/16" nuts for height provide left-right positioning near the business end of the static handle. • A short length of 20 ga. solid wire fed through the business end of the static handle is fixed to two drywall screws, and a 10 p. nail provides tensioning to hold the business end down and prevent slipping forward. • And, a small bar clamp holds the 2" x 4" down to the work bench. This project took about 15 minutes. Now, instead of beating up my hands, I can use the leverage of my whole upper body when bearing down. Made quick work of the remaining 200 crimps!

I've used several for work over the years but these are the ones I like the best
I crimp ferrules on a daily basis--I used several brands at our factory over the years and like these the best so I bought a pair for my own toolbox--now I don't have to borrow other peoples. They make great crimps, and are comfortable to use for long periods of time, never jam. Well made and included 2 extra springs to replace should the original one wear out. Great deal for the price!

Works as expected.
Been crimping long before Vince and Howard. I've been using several methods but finally started buying up every crimp tool I have needed for my van converaion. I now have a large toolbox dedicated to just crimp tools.

Good for the money
These aren't going to compare with Tyco or Knipex, but they work great for about 1/5th the cost. The crimp is good and the tool is solid.

Good tool
OK tool. Not wild about the square crimp.

This tool is simple to use, makes a good crimp and if necessary it can be adjusted which I had to do to crimp some smaller gage wires. It is well built and even though I only use it a few times a week, contractors in our facility have built huge panels using this tool with no problems. Considering the cost a person could afford to purchase two, keep one as a spare and the other for daily use.Compared to tools twice the cost that only crimp one or two sides of the pin, this is a quadruple bargain.

Great value and functions well
Great value and functions well. The surface finish on the outer silver metal is a little rough in some spots -- pitting, not smooth. I expect more from a new product, but I expect I'll naturally add a lot more imperfections to the surface as I use them.

For Solar/PV connections
Summary: Using this for the input/output cables on a Solar/PV charge controller. Previously, just tinning the wire to prevent fraying, but this is a better solution. Added the AIRIC ferrule connectors to the ends of the wire. The black/white controller shows the BEFORE tinned only wires. Pros: Good fit & finish; hard chrome finish resists rusting better; smooth operation. Cons: None. Conclusion: At $21, rating this 5-stars. Very impressed with the entire iWiss line of hand tools.
