Dried Fruit BG12174 Dried Fruit Dried Fuyu Persimmon - 1x5LB

Very disappointed in this products, the dried persimmons were like tough leather and hard to chew and eat.....the persimmons were sliced so thin that they all stuck together...as you can see by the pictures they look more like sogging home made potato chips than dried persimmons....if you want dried persimmons try the other brands they were very good and tasty...see my pictures before buying and if you don't mind that 5 lb of persimmons was packed in an open plastic bag and put in a box ...

These persimmons were delicious... Just the right texture and a wonderful flavor. The 5lbs of dried fruit came in a single clear, plastic bag. The bag was not sealed or labeled. If that doesn't bother you, then this is the right choice.

Surprised to get a HUGE box - looked like a year's supply! Dry and chewy but sweet if kept in the mouth long enough. Better cooked in juice until plumb, chilled on top of Greek yogurt. Price is super if you like this type of dried persimmon. I mistakenly expected something close to Hoshigaki but of course it would have cost a fortune.

The persimmons arrived 2 days later than the last estimated day.When I did get them, I got a 5 lb. box, with a bulk bag of persimmons. Just what I ordered. Flavor is good, but the slices are thinner than what I'm used to, so the flavor is too.

I have ordered this before, and really love it. This is the only dried fruit that I really like; not too sweet. I received the order on time. Martha G
