This book is not a study guide for the NEC. The chapter on how to use the NEC is only four pages long which is further complicated by a high language style. This book is on the steps to find an answer in a test by following  worked out problems. The method is not explained, You must have a copy of the NEC with you to follow the example along. The book fails to meet many of the claims in the description.

Used to prepare for electrical inspector exam. The problems are very helpful since there is a explanation showing methods for arriving at the answer. This is not a book for a novice or someone new, working knowledge of the NEC and electrical theory needed. It is good review material.
