While I was out of town, my friend shared her husband's pill cutter with me. I don't know this exist and had been using a knife to cut pills in half. This product works well for me.

Pill cutter was reasonable but cutting quality was poor

Its okay. It cuts my pills and can store the extra piece. The lid closes fine. It doesn't feel very durable but its been able to cut through pills no problem. A lot better than using a knife on a table.

I needed a way to cut my child’s meds in half bc of a dosage change on a couple of them and I have tried a knife and just using my fingers and, while those methods do work, they don’t work consistently. Sometimes the pills just crumble completely and that obviously isn’t the outcome needed. I purchased this pill cutter and it has worked perfectly every single time I have used it so far. I like that it is small and will travel well. It looks nice and isn’t a big tacky contraption. I like that if I need to store the pills during cutting there is space for that (it retains a decent amount of tiny halves). I don’t mind that it’s plastic the metal blade is doing all of the cutting work. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small pull cutter. I have used it for tiny pills and larger pills and it is quite versatile in size cutting also.

If you are older and have small tablets to cut, this particular contraption is not for you. I’m not that old to the point that I need assistance with my meds but this thing had me searching for one half of my pill on one hand and having to finish breaking another with my hands because it didn’t and doesn’t cut that particular tablet entirely. There is a cute feature where one half of the pill comes directly out without opening and the other half in a covered section but that rarely works out. The item was not expensive but it was still a waste of money for me, unfortunately, if I want a better pill cutter, I will have to get something more expensive and definitely a different brand

I take a couple prescriptions and some of the pills are too hard to swallow so I cut them in half and make them easier for me to take as required. This is a really well-made pill cutter, and easy to use.

Stroke survivor , opening it up with one hand was a bit difficult but a couple tabs of scotch tape made it easier As far as how it works , it works great 👍
