My go-to for weathering plastic models. I also use it to bring out depth and shading in the facial features of plastic model figures.

Great for weathering effect on vehicles
I wanted my 1/10th scale 3D printed Russian tank to look authentic and war torn. This Vallejo rust wash is very good for adding the look of age and weather on metal. On some spots I mix with a bit of orange to enhance the effect. I wish this stuff was cheaper, but it goes a long way, just at 1/10th scale, that can be a lot to cover!

Great for overlapping enamel washes
Got this because enamel wash on top of enamel paint is a nightmare; this cured that issue perfectly. Now I can do enamel dirt washes and do rust in Acrylic :)

Great color wash. Had a nice rusty hue. Have not had a bad experience with Vallejo yet.

Excellent product
I have used this product not only for 'rust' but it is my go to wash when trying to depict a bay coloured horse. It is so easy to create reddish shadows and highlights over light browns but will need sealing with a varnish of your choice.
