It is designed with wear, tear, and battle damage—even the dust cover looks old and used. There are "written notes" all around and even blacked out information like some declassified CIA manual. The inside is nicely organized with excellent layout and typography. About 80% of the book is the same: a profile of an infantry type/species/vehicle, done in a black and white line drawing art style, with a profile describing that unit's capabilities, with additional notes. The last 10% is dedicated to some concept art on how each unit compares in size to other units. — SUMMARY — This is not an Art Of book, but a gorgeous guide to the world of StarCraft. This field manual is full of great art from elements of the game, and funny "notes" taken here and there from the perspective of the Terran Marines.
