I like the 3mm versaloop in particular because it is slightly smaller than the 4mm curettes and works well even for infants! The flexible loop without a point is also gentler and less likely to scratch the ear canal. Especially good for soft wax. It does not penetrate hard wax, but I have good luck getting beside hard balls of wax and rolling them out.
