AJ my almost 1yr leopard gecko was curious when I first placed it. It is now his favorite hide to sleep in.I would normally use it as a food bowl for him but I think it looks nice with water(don't add too much).Lastly, I would highly recommend thoroughly cleaning the product before placing it in your enclosure because mine was covered in a lot of loose artificial moss. ### ⭐ Doesn't hold water. *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2021* I'm dissatisfied with this product as it doesn't hold water. It's advertised as a food or water dish. I got it as a water dish for my frog which is essential for him to soak in. The water disappears within an hour or so. I had to do a substrate change after a few days of refilling it because it leaked so much and caused the substrate to become a swamp. I am not sure why it leaks, there are no visible holes.
