Traditional Supplements Red Yeast Rice 240 caps

Can't speak for everybody, but the stuff has worked for me. Cholesterol went from 240's to 160's and I can't account for anything else (diet, exercise, etc) being the reason as they've remained unchanged. This is all unscientific cause and effect reporting, but my cholesterol is in check and that's all I cared about

This is a good alternative to taking statin drugs for lowering cholesterol. You have to take it for about four weeks to see any results. The good part is, this supplement does not seem to cause muscle pain, which the pharmaceutical versions do. My one concern is I don't know how much of the statin I'm getting. I would like to see more information about that.

My cardiologist wanted me on some type of cholesterol maintenance but I l did not do well on the "regular" statins so suggested Red Yeast Rice. This is the supplier that seemed to have the most effectiveness based on the many reviews I have read. I do not have any side effects in taking two 600 mg capsules a day (morning). I have not had a blood test since I started taking this product so I can not say anything, yet, about my cholesterol levels.
