The media could not be loaded. I decided on buying this because the price was comparable if not less than typical step trash. I figured case scenerio the motion sensor wouldn't work or stop working which would not be a big deal to because I would just use it manual. But it works!! Really well actually. Ive had it since March and I have not had a single problem. I have not even had to change the batteries yet. I I really like the fact you can hide the bag inside with the ring. I don't look forward to changing the bag because it is a little bit of a pain but I think its worth to not have the white bag sticking out. Very happy and honestly if the motion sensor stopped working I would still be happy with it ;)

Works well for the price. I refuse to pay 2x the price for something to throw away trash! Anyway, it works as advertised. I like that you can manually open and close the lid, as well as the automatic open/close. My main complaint is the plastic ring that you put the trash bag through. It just sits around the rim of the can under the lid, not on top of the rim to keep it more stable. Otherwise, for the price, it looks nice and does the job.

I really love this garbage can. Very well designed. My old one always looked dirty from finger prints and stuff always getting stuck around the foot pedal area. This one solves both those issues and you don’t have to see any of the bag, plus it stays put! Odors stay trapped too. I might have something smelly in there and not even realize it until I open it to add something else. The lid sensor is a little bit overly sensitive, and it opens quite frequently when I walk by, but that is partially my fault for putting it in such a high traffic area. Not a big deal since it closes itself a couple seconds later. My daughters love that they can open it by waving their behinds in front of the sensor. They think they are funny. I guess if it makes them smile, and I’m not having to clean fingerprints...😆

This trash can is great, motion sensor, never have to touch the lid again while food prepping!

Looking for a smaller stylish kitchen garbage can and this one is perfect. Just don’t accidentally throw away black ring that holds bag in place. Motion detection works well but does open sometimes when I walk by it.

I purchased this trash can in October 2020 and it worked great for about 8 months. Then the lid started opening only half way, but I changed the batteries and that seemed to fix the problem. For the last two weeks, the lid has not worked at all--I tried "resetting" it by turning it off and removing the batteries and waiting 24 hours. The warranty information that came with the trash can of course put the warranty at six months, but the manufacturer information said that "if the problem persists, our trained staff will assist you with any and all of your problems to ensure you are satisfied." However, the person who answered the phone at Factory Direct Wholesale only asked if I had changed the batteries, and when I said I had, she put me on hold for a few minutes and when she came back on the line said that if it wasn't the batteries, "it must be defective." No option to have someone assist me with any and all of my problems. I bought one of these for my son and he is now having problems with his as well. Not happy.

It looks and acts cheap! Doesn’t close every time.
