Too bad I didn't get one that worked
Went through 2 of these, the first had a button that kept getting stuck. The second had a button that didn't play. Too bad I didn't get one that worked. Got to give amazon praise for the hassle free returns. I think if your lucky and get a good one that it would be a good instrument.

Ugh! Buttons Stick!!
I've now returned this twice, and Amazon won't replace it again, so I guess it was a complete bust. The price is what motivated me to buy this, and I figured it would do the job until I learned to play and was ready to upgrade. Unfortunately, the buttons stick and there are other strange thip-thip noises produced by a couple of the reeds making it more or less useless. If it didn't have these problems it would be a great buy for the money; unfortunately it does. Back to square one!

A good entry to the concertina
I have had mine now for about 6 months, with fairly regular playing, and it continues to play well. I was looking for an inexpensive start on the concertina. I dived in, in spite of some of the reviews here, and my experience has been a good one. The only real complaint so far has been the original straps, which were hard to adjust and made of something that masqueraded as leather (or was the thinnest leather ever). Each has been replaced once with a tougher material. Otherwise, I have had no issues with the instrument that others have cited, such as buttons sticking.

My new hobby!
I bought this after hearing a folk singer play one (beautifully). I wanted to make my own music. This will take some work, but it's proving to be all kinds of fun!
