My FiiO M11 DAP doubles it's output in balanced mode and it really drives both the Etys and Sennheiser's to produce better sound. Very happy with the investment ### ⭐ Improvement is marginal at best.. not worth it *by L***S on March 8, 2025* I thought I give these cables a try. I bought it directly from Etymotic at full price thinking it was worth it. I plugged it into my Astell Kern AK120II's 2.5mm balanced input jack. There is major issue with this cable. For one, each independent wire to sleeves are not aligning properly so any slight movement will cause signal static and drop outs. So it would not be feasible to use with a portable device while you're moving around. Forget about attempting to use it at the gym. Second, the balanced output's improvement in separation as the signal travels on separate ground for each Left and Right channel is marginal at best. Totally not worth the money.
