Doesn't look like the OEM part but it damn sure is sturdy. The handle is made of plastic and is pretty thick. Not as thick as OEM but pretty darn close. For the price its a can't beat compared to the OEM. It installed with ease and I didn't have a problem what so ever.All you need to install the clip is a T-20 driver to remove the 4 screws, Phillips head to remove and install the handle, and a Flat head to pry the clips off. Its very easy so do yourself the favor and order this part if your handle is broken and save your self the money from going to the dealership and do it yourself.The lid stays nice and snug once it is latched. Highly recommend product. I also included pictures comparing the new clip to my broken OEM clip.

Thank you for this! I don't how, but the latch in my 2011 Silverado 1500 broke. Tried to repair it, but that didn't work well. Ran across this on Amazon and glad I did. Removed the old one and this one fit exactly in place. Took about 15 minutes. I bought 2 of them just in case this one breaks.

I was really annoyed when the original latch broke on my 2012 GMC Sierra recently. Much to my surprise, I found this replacement on Amazon for around $10! Super easy to install. In fact, my 9 year old son did it in about 15 minutes, including the time needed to gather a couple of tools, while I supervised.

Arrived on time and it fits the vehicle as described. Fit and finish is not the same as the oem part, but for this price I would highly recommend it.

Perfect fit - easy to install. Just remove the 4 torx screws on the inside of the door, then remove the plastic piece (it's held on pretty tight by plastic clips, but pops out with a little force). From there, just remove the old clip by taking out the two Philips screws.

It fits the 3 cup type,the thing is it the lowest quality i ever seen in my life !? With this price I can buy better quality, that's my opinion with all respect to the salesman.

I was so excited for this replacement patch--but ended up being bummed out because about a month after installing it, it began not fully latching and eventually never latched. It's like the material bent juuuust enough to stop catching the ridge. No matter what I've tried, I can't bend the latch back to latch again.

Just plain terrible quality! I received the latch already broken in the mail (See Pics). Even if it did arrive in once piece I would have looked at different options after receiving it. The plastic is very cheap and brittle. You can see how terrible the mold looks, it looks unfinished.I ended up purchasing the Dorman brand for a few extra dollars and it is leaps and bounds better than this latch. Amazon's customer service was excellent as always and returned it no problem.
