Great Shears
After the first use, I am very impressed with these shears. I have several shrubs that needed pruning, and these shears made it a very easy job, even with an injured hand. First of all, they are ergonomically pleasing, which my hands much appreciated. As for the actual task, the shears cut through the shrub branches very easily, without requiring extreme pressure. They seem well made, and I am looking forward to using them for a long time. Also, the price is very reasonable!

This is for contractors or homeowners who know how to prune
THIS PRUNER IS ALMOST AS GREAT AS MY ARS if it's not better as my ARS cost 5 times more. It is smooth cutting & after 3 hours still can cut nicely of coarse one must care for this tool & clean it after use then sharpen & oil it. Stihl makes a great tool cleaner which is spray on cleaner & oils the tool. This pruner should last a good long time, i'm a pro-been doing pruning going on 50 years teach classes certifeid & have more things behind my name but hard knocks has taught me well!

Good shears -
I like the shears and they work really well. My only complaint is that the pair that I received had obviously been used.

Locking Device is defective!!!
These pruners are heavy duty & cut well. The problem is the locking device is defective & does not work. I missed the window to replace them so we are stuck with an inferior product. There was not way to contact the seller since their email follow-up did not work. Dissatisfied!

I'm Always Looking For "THE BEST" Pruner
I am always looking for the best tool to assist me in getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Doing any job yourself (DIYer) reminds you how tough any job can be without the correct tool. Using the wrong (or marginal tool) can be frustrating, time consuming, and can damage whatever you are trying to fix. And of course there is always the possibility of injuring yourself, which is why I don't use full-powered chainsaws in the wetlands. I have found however that a good battery powered reciprocating saw with the proper wood cutting blades makes some of the tougher jobs much easier. When you secure the best tool and use it properly it is amazing how quickly and efficiently you can complete your task.I spend a huge amount of time tending our 2.75 acres in Southwest Florida trimming mangroves and removing invasive species (Brazilian Pepper Trees and Malaleucas). Depending on the variety and size of tree/plant I have to trim/remove I make use of a host of tools ranging from pocket Silky Saws to battery powered chainsaws -- and everything in between including machetes and various types of hand saws. But the best tool for making a clean cut on any growing branch is done with a good set of bypass pruners. I have tried lots of them with varying success, from the cheapest to some of the most expensive. Sometimes I have actually ended up with two pruners that are identical (with the exception of color and/or handles), the main difference being that one pair cost $17.99 and the other $49.95. Go figure! My basic problem is that I tend to cut larger diameter branches than I should with my pruners. That's when you find out how well made they are. Some of them simply throw their springs into the brush -- never to be found. Others lock up and/or the handles fall off. But this particular pair of Zeemplify's have turned out to be tougher than most. The first time I locked them up by trimming a branch wider than 1" I figured that they were headed for the recycle bin. But I loosened the various fasteners, removed a piece of wood jammed in between the jaws, lubricated the moving parts, and sharpened the blades. I had to experiment a few times when tightening it back up to get the tension correct for the spring to work efficiently but that wasn't a problem.I am impressed with these clippers. They are sharp and easy to resharpen, are ergonomically correct for my hands, function flawlessly unless tasked with a project they are not designed for, and can be used for several hours without causing hand fatigue. You can also loosen everything up for lubricating and then tighten them to your specific needs. This appeals to my Midwestern values since I can give them a second (or even third) chance to resume using them instead of having to throw them away. And the price at $21.97 is very reasonable for the quality of tool that you get.NOTE: After two years of the abuse I constantly gave them the tension spring flew off into parts unknown. Two years of hard use for $21.97 is pretty darn good and they have lasted longer than any other pruner I've tried. So I just ordered a new pair and found out that the price has dropped to $14.97. Highly recommended!

Awesome Shears!
These are absolutely the best shears I've ever used! I'm an avid gardener and have gone thru every brand of shears I can find. For years I've settled on an averaged-priced ($15 or so) pair of shears that would stay sharp for about 3 months. Then I'd toss them in my "dead pile" and get a couple of new pair. However, I doubt these new shears will ever see that pile! They are so sharp (be very careful!) and so comfortable to use! I highly recommend this product for all experienced gardeners!

From China - not worth the price - ergonomics are poor - MEH - returning them.
From China...... and should be half the price for the quality. Locking mechanism didn't work all the time - ergonomics are poor - handles pretty short as a lever- so cuts are not using the full power of a correct lever size. the handles feel like the plastic coating is going to slip off. Not impressed for the price! The plating on the blades came off the very first use. Disappointed. Returning.MEH quality.

The best pair of yard shears I've ever owned
The best pair of yard shears I've ever owned! I plan on buying another pair. Easy, comfortable to use & stay sharp. However, the blade coating seems to be more for show than a lasting characteristic. I really like the positive sliding lock so they won't come open in your pocket. Very high-quality materials & workmanship, should last a long time with regular care.
