A size 40 is perfect length in both men's and women's sizes. Good hardware, well constructed, I am well pleased with the boot. The pricing is another matter. I bought them last week, wore them outside today, and came in to write a positive review only to discover the price had dropped $45.00 I would have returned them if they had not been worn, that is just too much.

I have purchased this brand before. The fit, for me, is perfect and it is consistent. I wear a woman's 8.5W and go to the mens boot to get the width. A size 40 is perfect length in both men's and women's sizes. Good hardware, well constructed, I am well pleased with the boot. The pricing is another matter. I bought them last week, wore them outside today, and came in to write a positive review only to discover the price had dropped $45.00 I would have returned them if they had not been worn, that is just too much.

This is a very good boot. I have peripheral neuropathy that demands great shoes and boots. This is my second pair of Scarpas, the other is a low cut dressier pair with wider room at the ball of my foot that fits perfect.
