The most compelling, make-me-want-to-jump-in-the-water movie I've watched in a long time. This is the true story of the beginning of pro surfing on the North Shore. Many of the tales have to be what inspired aspects of the 80's movie, "North Shore". The real "Da Hui" and the Aussie invasion, and the beginnings of the IPS are all covered with fantastic footage of "Rabbit" Bartholomew and fellow Australians. Also covered are the stories of death threats and "contracts" that were put on them for the way they came across in the media at the time. It's an amazing story; a significant part of surfing history not to be missed.
