Love, love, love the new Tobo track! I had been searching for a wooden roadway when I stumbled across this set. It comes as shown with the track, 2 adapters to connect to your wooden railway and 2 small wooden cars. It also comes with sheets of stickers, but we passed on adding those. I was immediately impressed by the feel....sort of a compressed heavy duty plastic. They are not flimsy at all. They fit your typical diecast cars, such as Matchbox, just fine. Match the numbers and build your roadway! I didn't take off the 5 star rating for the stickers or the small wooden cars, but I think this set could easily be sold without those. Perhaps others will have a different point of view. I have uploaded a few pictures! Great gift! UPDATE: We have owned these for over a year and a half now. They still look brand new. I came back today to order more of the playscape pieces to incorporate more building blocks. I would LOVE to see something shaped like a turntable, but with a baseplate center so the kids can build a house, garage, train station, whatever. That would be an awesome addition. Until that comes out, I will purchase the additional connectors for $12.95

What a genius idea and super toy! My three year old grandson and his more than 3 yr old "Grammie" LOVE Tobo Track. This is a clever creation that allows a child to connect roadways to his wooden train tracks. We have enjoyed creating neighborhoods and "work buildings" that detour off of our railroad track. Tobo track forms 'roads' in which trains and small cars can easily travel. This is a quality product that allows a child to use his imagination and creativity which is so foundational in a child's development. I have been an elementary (and special education) educator for over 20 years and have high standards when making purchases for my students or family. This one meets my expectations! It provides a child with success as the pieces are easy to manipulate; and it keeps the child engaged as their building designs are always changing ( children love to find ways to 'better' the last one created). Creating with Tobo Track also spurs conversation between children (and adults) as the child makes connections between his created neighborhood and the real world; this is so important for language and social development. I have purchased 2 sets and we are hopeful that Santa will bring another one.

We love tobo! Especially how easily it connects to the train tracks. My favorite part is that the tobo allows us to use both the imaginarium set and ikea set together. My two year old can't quite get it together himself but he loves using it and I know he will grow into this toy. It is a little hard to keep together on carpet so I wish they clicked together a bit better but that would be my only "complaint". Tobo has excellent customer service! The set I purchased came with a broken car and when I emailed the company to let them know they sent me another car and 14 tracks! I am very pleased. I love open ended toys that stimulate my sons imagination. Works well with all his little vehicles too! Happy customer!

I have to be real here:Not all that great. Yes the puzzle effect is awesome and it's fun to put together patterns and streets etc. But that's where it ends.My son rarely plays with it. He prefers all his other trains and car sets. The color is bland. The stickers help, but only a little. It needs some more work. The price was also very, very expensive. Bought 2 sets, costs almost $100 and it really does not make very much track. I can think of many ways to make this a much better product. Colors for starters. Kids like big bold colorful things. Also accessories are non-existent and very much needed. But there is really something that I don't like at all:The surface of the material. I don't like it at all. It's very hard/slick. Your trains/cars just slide on it. The wheels don't turn. I think that's why my boy does not like it. It does not give the right tactical feedback.The little wooden cars that come with it .... well I'll just say it: UGLY.For the same $100 you can get a full train set with lots of track or any decent Hot Wheels track set.As it is, I would not recommend this to a friend. I could envision many improvements that would make it much better. And a lower cost.

I bought these for a young toddler, and they're better suited for an older child, perhaps around age 4-5. They are difficult, perceptually, for a younger child to figure out since they're not linear. We'll see how he likes them when he gets older. Meanwhile, the linear brands (Duplo or the wooden ones work better for him). They appear to be well made and sturdy, but have not yet withstood the test of time. So my review is based on the functional use of them for a 2 year old, not the product quality.

I would certainly recommend Tobo Track to anyone. It's a unique product that's well made and encourages creativity. What they don't tell you is that adults can have a lot of fun with it too!

I think this is a great toy. I love toys that are multi-purpose and educational. Lots of ways to create patterns and pathways with this one. The little wooden cars are a nice touch. My son is not too excited by it, yet, but it usually takes him a while to warm up to new things.

This is a very innovative product. It not only has different ways to put it together but it also has numbers on the pieces. Very unique toy. Glad to see something new out there for my child to expand his imagination with.
