The pouch itself is designed to keep out the elements under normal conditions. DO NOT use it as an underwater case, it is not designed for this purpose. Practical uses range from just placing it in our dry bag as added protection, taking a picture at Niagra Falls, a video of a friend landing a trophy Marlin while on a fishing vessel. In worst case scenarios, our dry bags can be used as a flotation device in the event of capsizing, but does NOT replace a life jacket/preserver. Cell phone pouch should be tested before placing electronics inside. Place a piece of paper inside. Make sure each seal is engaged properly. Open and reseal a couple of times to practice. Submerge in the sink for a minute. Remove and check to make sure the paper is dry.
