The cap itself is well made, BUT HAS ONE LARGE FLAW.The o-ring is too small. The cap is very loose in a 2013 RAM 2500. The product comes with a note which states: "The O-ring installed your fuel cap is a O-ring size -217. If you find it too tight, we have included a -216 (smaller diameter) O-ring. This makes no sense as it is already loose enough to pop out with good jolt.I Like the cap, but disappointed they did not include a larger O-ring. Have not decided if will keep or return. There is no seal with current size.*****UPDATED*****After posting my initial negative review I am changing it from 2 stars to 4 stars. This is because I contacted customer service who were very friendly and explained that RAM had very loose specs for the fuel intake as no cap had been originally designed by RAM. Because of this sometimes caps may be too loose.To fix this issue they mailed to me too additional O-ring sizes free of charge. One of these fit my fuel intake perfectly. I am now very happy with this cap.

I wanted to provide this info for other people doing the same search I did. As far as build and such, this is an awesome looking device that looks like quite durable.As far as use, I discovered I won't be able to use it. I have a Grand Cherokee and assumed it would have the same design as the Ram as others have assumed as well. I can tell you it was shipped with a second O-ring of a different size and a note from the manufacturer that they will assist if you find out one of the two supplied doesn't work.

This shouldnhave been standard. The capnis amazing and it works. I had my truck washed at a touchless car wash and you know how many nozzles are workong at once. This little cap actually kept water out even tho it still went inside ghe fuel door, the fill hole stayed dry. It is important that you keep the thicker o-ring in my opinion because once it comes in contact with water it gets kinda loose, you dont want that so make sure you use the thicker one just to be safe. The stock DEF cap does an excellent job but they do sell the aluminum one if you want to get it. This should have been standard on all Ram trucks. Come on Dodge Ram, get your s**** together!!

Can't quite give this a perfect 5star rating. There are two very minor things I feel were overlooked that would make this perfect. 1st, the plug needs to be a bit longer in order to fit into the filler neck a little deeper and therefore more secure. 2nd, the cap end would serve us allot better if it was at least slightly wider than the lip of thefiller tube (instead of being perfectly flush), in order to easily grasp it with gloves in colder weather or for those with large hands & fingers.Just fine for my usage, but I'll admit where others might have a slight problem with the design as such.

I really want to give this a 5 star rating but i can't. While it totally fixes what i think is a design flaw by Ram, (putting the DEF filler so close to the cap-less diesel filler. It allows spillage of DEF into the fuel tank) it should have been made just slightly bigger than the fill neck. As others have said, it is hard to get a grasp on it with or without gloves. It is very well made and MADE IN THE USA. My favorite 4 words.

Works good, looks good, does what I wanted. I like the looks and protection. I used the bigger of the two o-rings it came with which felt tight at first but as soon as a little diesel gets on it it slips on and off a lot easier. As others have said, exact same diameter as filler neck. If it was any larger it would be easier to grab yes, but then also might start to catch on DEF cap. Ive got no problems with it.

I really like this cap. It is the second after-market cap I've purchased. The first did not have a magnet, just a rubber tether that enlarged at the hole and did not secure the cap from dropping to the ground. The magnet in this cap works great on the fuel door hinge. Two O rings were shipped with the product (one installed), but the one installed on the cap was a perfect fit on my 2015 Ram 3.0L diesel fuel filler.

Works great on my 2014 Ram 2500 diesel. Replaced my little plastic cap from factory. Has a magnet on end so you can place it on fuel door. Great price and quick to ship.
