You have 2 stereo trigger inputs. So, you can use 2 double zone pads or 4 single zone pads, using a "Y" cable to split the stereo jack of the TM-2 into 2 mono jacks for the pads. **Q: Does this Unit comes with the mounting plate?** A: roland tm2 does NOT come with the plate. we ordered 2 of these and just thought they were missing, we were informed by roland it does not come with unit, $49 and change for the plate and adapter, ridiculous **Q: Is there a way to connect this to a TD-11 drum module?** A: Hello! If the TD11 has a line input, you can conect the TM2 asa mp3 reproductor (or anything that gives you a line signal). I do that with a SPD-S. Other option you have is connecting them through MIDI port (if TD11 has it). This way, what you are going to be doing is triggering TD11 sounds from TM2. This seems a little unusefull, but it doesnΒ΄t. You can Layer sounds, triggering both sounds (the TM2 and TD11) at the same time.
