You need a program like Virtual DJ, if you manage to set it up, do a demo on YouTube. It would be a hit.

I brought this my son for his birthday, when he connects it to his PC he gets no sound, do you need separate speakers?

Hi, Numark support here! The included software Serato DJ Lite will auto configure the audio routing directly through Mixtrack Platinum FX's integrated sound card. If you don't have a pair of external powered speakers, you can ensure the main output is routed through your computer/laptops inbuilt speakers. To do so, follow the steps below: -Open Serato DJ Lite -Select the settings icon on the top right of the window -Select the Audio tab -'Tick' the box stating 'Use Laptop Speakers' For a visual reference on these steps, please refer to '3min 25seconds' on the attached video.
